Today, we honor the life, service, and legacy of our beloved brother, Earl Alexis Temblon "Delta 1."

Though your final alarm has sounded, your courage, compassion, and unwavering dedication to serving others will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of standing beside you. Your boots may now rest, but your legacy will continue to inspire every firefighter and responder who answers the call.

Thank you for every sacrifice, every response, and every life you touched. It was an honor to serve alongside you.

Today, the sound of sirens echoed not in response to an emergency, but as a final tribute to a brother who dedicated his life to serving others.

The United Mandaue Fire Responders (UMFIRE) extends its deepest gratitude to every Fire Brigade, Emergency Medical Service, Rescue Unit, volunteer organization, and partner agency who stood alongside us in honoring our fallen brother, Earl "Delta 1." Your presence, unwavering support, and participation in the Water Salute Ceremony reflected the true meaning of camaraderie, brotherhood, and service beyond organizational boundaries.

To the Bureau of Fire Protection – Mandaue City Fire Station, all participating Barangay Fire Brigades, Emergency Response Teams, the Traffic Enforcement Agency of Mandaue, and everyone who helped ensure the safe and dignified conduct of today's tribute—thank you. Your professionalism and solidarity made this final farewell truly meaningful.

To our brother, Delta 1,

You answered every call with courage, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to serve. Though your final alarm has sounded, your legacy will continue to inspire those who wear the uniform and those who choose to serve their communities with the same selflessness you embodied.

𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗘 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬 – 𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗔 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 & 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦

As we prepare to render our final honors to our fallen brother, Earl, all participating Fire Brigades and Emergency Response Teams are requested to observe the following operational guidelines for tomorrow's Water Salute Ceremony.

𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲 & 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲
- July 16, 2026
- Be at your designated area by 7:30AM
- We advise you to park your vehicle near the sidewalks first prior to positioning it base on the area assignment.

𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺
- All FIRE BRIGADE personnel and AMBULANCE CREWS MUST wear a complete and uniform attire throughout the ceremony.
- Personnel shall wear either:
- Class A Uniform, or
- Complete Turnout Gear (PPE)
- Members of each company must wear the same uniform for uniformity and to uphold the dignity of the ceremony.

𝗔𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴
- Ambulances shall be staged parallel to the Mandaue City Fire Station, positioned along the center road line.
- All ambulances shall face the southbound lane.
- Ambulance crews shall form a line beside their respective units, facing the Mandaue City Fire Station.
- Personnel shall render a final salute only upon the command of the Ground/Incident Commander.

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴
- Fire engines shall be positioned along the center island of Ouano Avenue (Southbound Lane) according to the assigned layout.
- Crews shall form beside their respective apparatus, facing the direction of the funeral procession.
- The Water Salute (Water Arch) shall commence only upon the order of the Ground/Incident Commander.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗼𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
- The Convoy Commander shall be responsible for monitoring the movement and location of the funeral procession.
- Units stationed along Ouano Avenue shall be notified in advance as the convoy approaches to ensure all personnel are prepared for the ceremonial honors.

𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀
- Fire Brigades and Emergency Response Organizations not reflected in the Area Assignment Layout are still welcome to participate.
- These units are requested to stage their apparatus after the last assigned fire engine, maintaining the same formation and alignment to preserve the order of the ceremony.

Let us all uphold the values of discipline, professionalism, and respect as we come together to honor one of our own. May this final tribute reflect the brotherhood, service, and commitment that Earl embodied throughout his life.

𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀

The United Mandaue Fire Responders (UMFIRE), together with participating fire and emergency response organizations, will conduct a Water Salute Tribute in honor of our departed brother, Earl, on Thursday, July 16, 2026 | 8AM.

The public is respectfully informed that a funeral convoy will travel from Earl's residence to the Water Salute venue before continuing to Argao.

📍 Funeral Convoy Route
- Departure: Earl's Residence
- P. Ouano Road (straight)
- G. Ouano Street
- Short Stop: Opao Barangay Hall
- Continue to UCLM
- Right Turn: A.C. Cortes Avenue
- Left Turn: Plaridel Street
- Right Turn: Ouano Avenue
- Destination: Water Salute Venue (Mandaue City Fire Station to the southbound lane of Ouano Avenue)

🚒 Water Salute Ceremony
- Several fire apparatus will be positioned along Ouano Avenue, beginning at the Mandaue City Fire Station and extending through the southbound lane.
- Fire trucks will sound their sirens as part of the traditional honors rendered to our fallen brother.
- A ceremonial Water Salute will be performed as the funeral convoy passes through the designated area.

🚦 Traffic Advisory
- Temporary traffic slowdown and intermittent lane restrictions are expected along portions of the convoy route and Ouano Avenue during the ceremony.
- Motorists are advised to reduce speed, exercise patience, and follow the directions of traffic personnel and event marshals.
- Please give way to the funeral convoy and avoid overtaking or obstructing the procession.
- We likewise ask the public to observe solemnity and respect while the tribute is being conducted.

This ceremonial activity has been coordinated with the Traffic Enforcement Agency of Mandaue. Traffic personnel will be deployed along the convoy route and the Water Salute venue to assist with traffic management and ensure the safe, orderly, and dignified conduct of the ceremony.

We sincerely apologize for any temporary inconvenience and thank the public for their patience, understanding, and cooperation as we pay our final respects to one of our own.

𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐎𝐔𝐓, 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐓𝐀 𝟏

Today, the United Mandaue Fire Responders mourns the passing of one of our own, Earl Alexis Temblon (DELTA 1), who answered his final alarm on July 9, 2026.

Earl was more than a responder—he was a young and aspiring firefighter whose passion for serving others was evident in everything he did. As a dedicated member of the Ibabao-Estancia Fire Brigade and an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responder of the Opao Emergency Response Team, he embodied the true spirit of volunteerism, courage, and selfless service.

He was a brave soul who never hesitated to respond whenever the call for help came. Whether it was a fire incident, an emergency response, or a medical aid demonstration, Earl was always eager to learn, ready to serve, and willing to stand on the front lines. His enthusiasm, determination, and genuine desire to make a difference inspired everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Though his journey was far too short, his dedication to the fire and rescue service has left a lasting mark on the hearts of his brothers and sisters in the emergency response community.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and to everyone whose lives he touched.
