Yesterday, we joined thousands of Filipinos at EDSA for the Trillion Peso March. This is not only a protest, this is a call for justice, a reminder that corruption is not numbers on paper but lives stolen and futures destroyed. As students and as Filipinos, we are angry because every peso lost to corruption is a classroom without chairs, a hospital without medicine, a family left in hunger.
Our officers spoke with conviction:
"The government dislikes protests but they don't come to think why it happened in the first place.
Ordinary taxpayers work tirelessly 24/7, skipped meals, worked overtime yet all of that is stored in the pockets of the so-called "government officials".
The youth are commonly labeled as "inexperienced" or "negligent" but it's more of a tactic; the lack of education, maybe it would explain why the quality of public education is still low.
A lot just started to accept what the country has fallen into, not because they wanted to, but because some felt voiceless and drowned into thinking that it's irrelevant and will be shut down, but that's wrong, there's always someone out there, fighting in the shadows, in small groups, or independently, combine them and those voices will be louder than the displays of luxury spent by those in power.
Let's salute eachother! We stood against corruption, walked kilometers to represent the powerless, our actions inspire others to be more than who they think they are, we are a change maker, not just a protestant."

The Trillion Peso March at the rally is the voice of the people in seeking justice. It proves that when people join hands to protest against corruption, that cry becomes such a powerful voice that it must be listened to by people in power. An equally emerging lesson- the need to maintain order and peace in the face of protest. It shows that the purity of People Power is really not in disorder, but in peaceful, unified resolution toward that change desired by the entire nation.

"The Trillion Peso March marks a remarkable perspective to every Filipino as this is not just a protest but this is also a movement, a remembrance and the declaration that the nation will no longer tolerate oppression, corruption, and even in abuse of power. We will never stay silenced to our opinions and perspectives through this. The voices of the youth will always stand firm, loud and with dignity through our perspectives, opinions, and the importance of equality. Muli, hindi na ipagpapaliban ang pananagutan, dapat nang tuluyan na nating isuko ang kinabukasan ng ating mahal na bayan. Panagutin ang mga dapat managot. Ang tunay na halaga ng demokrasya ay nasa ating kakayahang alalahanin at ipaglaban ito sa bawat pagkakataong tinatangka itong ipagkait."

The Trillion Peso March is more than a protest. It is the cry of a nation long betrayed by corruption. As a student leader, I march with anger and with hope, because every peso stolen is a future stolen. We see classrooms without resources, hospitals without medicine, and families left in hunger while billions are pocketed by the powerful. This movement is our stand, our remembrance, and our declaration that we will no longer accept abuse of power. The youth will not be silenced. We will speak with dignity, with courage, and with conviction. Muli, hindi na ipagpapaliban ang pananagutan. Dapat panagutin ang mga dapat managot. Ang tunay na halaga ng demokrasya ay nasa ating kakayahang ipaglaban ito sa tuwing tinatangka itong ipagkait.
