Rizal Technological University (RTU) has achieved a significant milestone as its Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BS Psychology) program and six others earned their Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). This accolade is a resounding affirmation of RTU's unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional education.
The COPC signifies that RTU's BS Psychology program is fully compliant with CHEd's rigorous policies, standards, and guidelines, thereby elevating the program's status to "CHED-RECOGNIZED," a mark of excellence.
For years, RTU's BS Psychology program has been known for its dedication to academic excellence and nurturing future psychologists.
Featured in the photo is Dr. J. Prospero E. De Vera III, Chairman of CHEd. Distinguished representatives from RTU, including Dr. Rodrigo Tomas, Dean of RTU College of Arts and Sciences (CAS); Assoc. Prof. Lorena Halili, Associate Dean of RTU CAS; Asst. Prof. Christian Pagal, Head of RTU Department of Psychology; and Assoc. Prof. Niño Maliban, Head of the Institutional Accreditation Division, RTU Quality Assurance Center, were also in attendance.
Notably, Inst. Omar Manlapas, Head of RTU Department of Political Science from the College of Arts and Sciences, celebrated a dual triumph for RTU as the COPC was also bestowed upon RTU's AB Political Science program, showcasing the university's commitment to excellence across diverse academic disciplines.
RTU's remarkable achievement doesn't stop here, as the university has received seven prestigious recognitions from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). These accolades underscore RTU's dedication to providing top-tier education and its pivotal role in shaping the future of countless students across various fields of study. The programs honored with the coveted COPCs include Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BS Psychology), AB Political Science, BS Civil Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Instrumentation and Control Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering, and BS Electronics and Communications Engineering.
This recognition solidifies RTU's reputation as a premier educational institution dedicated to equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in various fields, filling the institution with immense pride.
