Join us 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟖, as we unravel the mystery of the murder of Carmela Valdez in our captivating game, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐑𝐔 𝟐: 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐭. Onsite registration starts at 11 AM at the LASO booth beside the University Main Gate. Participants may proceed with playing after registration. Don't miss out on this thrilling experience!

The Liberal Arts Students Organization (LASO) at JRU is thrilled to announce that it has received full accreditation from the Department of Foreign Affairs – UNESCO Philippines (DFA-UNESCO Philippines).

This prestigious recognition is a testament to the LASO’s commitment to excellence in student leadership and international relations.

The DFA-UNESCO Philippines conducted a thorough review of the LASO’s credentials, including its organizational structure, programs, and activities. The department was particularly impressed with the LASO’s track record of promoting international understanding and cooperation.

“We are honored to receive this full accreditation from the DFA-UNESCO Philippines, together with our fellow RSO, YES,” said Mikhail Locsin II, LASO President. “This is a significant recognition of our organization’s work in promoting international relations among our residents.”

Full accreditation from the DFA-UNESCO Philippines brings a number of benefits to the LASO. The organization will now be able to access additional resources and support from the department, and its students will have the opportunity to participate in a wider range of international programs and activities.

“This accreditation will allow us to expand our reach and impact even further,” said Angelo Faminial, LASO Vice President-Internal. “We are excited to continue our work in promoting international understanding and cooperation among our students.”

The LASO is a student-run organization that aims to promote international understanding and cooperation among its members. The organization hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year, including seminars, workshops, and cultural exchange programs.

“The LASO at JRU is committed to providing its members with the opportunity to learn about different cultures and to develop their skills in national and international relations. The organization is also committed to promoting peace and understanding between different peoples and cultures” said Czar Nachor, LASO Vice President - External.

The LASO is proud to be fully accredited by the DFA-UNESCO Philippines. This accreditation is a testament to the organization’s commitment to excellence in student leadership and international relations. The LASO is excited to continue its work in promoting international understanding and cooperation among its residents, the JRU community, and beyond.

The Liberal Arts Students Organization, in partnership with JRU Mathematics Society, presents 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐑𝐔 𝟐: 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐭, returning for its second entry of the series on November 22, 2023. Registration starts at 11 AM at the LASO booth beside the University Main Gate. Participants may play solo, or as a group consisting of up to 5 players.

Play the role of Sasha, a student who discovers a journal detailing the events of a 40-year murder conspiracy of a former student of the academy. What follows is a journey discovering clues, answering riddles, and completing challenges to solve the mystery and ultimately bring justice to the soul of the deceased Carmela Valdez.
