Last March 21, 2026, the Rotaract Club of Pleasant Hills, together with the Rotaract Club of PUP San Juan and other Rotaract Clubs, successfully held the initiative ๐’๐„๐๐˜๐€๐’: ๐๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐œ ๐…๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐จ ๐’๐ข๐ ๐ง ๐‹๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐š๐ ๐ž ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines โ€“ San Juan.

During the workshop, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of Filipino Sign Language (FSL) guided by resource speaker Ms. Veronica Fe Gigantone, where they learned basic essential signs such as aphabet, numbers, colors, and etc. The session provided a safe and engaging environment for participants to practice and appreciate the value of visual language.

The discussion emphasized respect, awareness, and inclusivity toward the Deaf community. By equipping attendees with basic FSL knowledge, the workshop aimed to break communication barriers and inspire individuals to become advocates for accessibility and inclusivity in their own communities.

This shows how simple hand gestures build understanding, promote inclusivity, and connect communities beyond spoken language. Together, we take a step toward a more accessible and compassionate society. ๐ŸคŸ๐Ÿป

On Good Friday, we commemorate the ultimate sacrifice, a moment of deep love, suffering, and redemption. In the face of pain and sacrifice, we are reminded of a love that chose to endure, to forgive, and to give everything for others.

Last March 14, 2026, the Rotaract Club of Pleasant Hills participated in ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐˜ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ: ๐—”๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฏ ๐˜€๐—ฎ ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—น๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ผ, ๐—ฆ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ด ๐˜€๐—ฎ ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—บ๐˜‚๐—บ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ผ at One Cainta Oval Park. The event brought together Rotaract members from different clubs to promote camaraderie, teamwork, and leadership through fun and engaging activities.

The participants were divided into four teams: Blue Team, Green Team, Red Team, and Orange Team. Each group showcased their energy and unity as they competed in various traditional Filipino games. Among the highlights of the event were classic larong Pinoy such as tug of war, dodgeball, tumbang preso, and Chinese garter, which encouraged not only friendly competition but also cooperation and sportsmanship among the players.

Throughout the day, laughter and enthusiasm filled the venue as everyone actively participated and supported their respective teams. The event successfully strengthened bonds among Rotaractors while celebrating Filipino culture through traditional games.

Last January 31, 2026, The Rotaract Club of Pleasant Hills attended the ๐Ÿฏ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ ๐——๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐˜ ๐—ง๐—ผ๐˜„๐—ป๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น ๐—ฉ๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐˜† ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ฟ, an inspiring district event designed to foster growth and collaboration among Rotaractors, held at the Valenzuela City Academic Center for Excellence (ValACE).

This seminar provided a meaningful platform for learning, idea-sharing, and personal development, focusing on strengthening organizational capabilities, cultivating leadership skills, and addressing challenges faced by Rotaract clubs. Through engaging discussions and collaborative activities, members explored practical and sustainable strategies to improve club performance and expand their positive impact within the community.

All in all, attending this seminar left a lasting impression on members, who gained not only knowledge and skills but also renewed motivation to lead, collaborate, and create positive change within the clubs and the wider community.

The Rotaract Club of Pleasant Hills successfully conducted its Mid-Year Review on January 10, 2026, held at St. Joseph Academy of Valenzuela. The event was attended by Good President Celeste Love Selda and President-Elect Harv Buladaco, marking a meaningful milestone in the clubโ€™s Rotary year.

We were honored by the presence of our District Rotaract Representative of District 3800, DRR Alvin Ferrer, who guided the club throughout the review and shared valuable insights for continuous improvement.
