𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟑: 𝐁𝐄𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐙𝐎𝐍. 🌊

A congress can give you ideas.
A community gives those ideas somewhere to stand.
That was Day 3.

The delegates left the discussions behind and spent the day in their assigned communities, where the broad language of service became much more specific.

At Hope in Me Club, community development and mental health brought attention to something easy to overlook: a healthy community is not only built through programs and projects, but through the conditions that allow people to feel supported, connected, and well.

At Dar Amanah, access to education became the focus. Not education as a line on a policy document, but education as an opportunity—one that can widen the choices available to a young person.

What the delegates saw was different in each community, but both raised the same point:
The issues we talk about have lives attached to them.
The afternoon shifted the lens again through HABI: Where the Journey Intersects, Vocations Weave, bringing together a Lasallian Partner, Volunteer, Brother, and Artist. Four paths, none identical, all shaped by a different understanding of what it means to give one’s time, work, and life to something beyond oneself.

Then came the quieter part of the day: processing, journal writing, and looking back at what the delegates had actually encountered.

𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐: 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑? 🗣️

On Day 1, we arrived from different shores, carrying different stories into one Lasallian gathering.
On Day 2, we began asking what those stories—and the people who carry them—are meant to contribute.

The question of youth participation was brought into a larger frame through Kaisa, where the delegates were invited to look at young people not simply as participants in discussions, but as people already capable of taking part in the work of nation-building.

That question continued with the Lasallian Youth Agenda (LAYA). Instead of treating youth concerns as a list to be collected, the delegates had the opportunity to examine what should actually matter to young Lasallians and what they want their institutions to pay attention to.

Day 1 gave us a place to arrive.
Day 2 gave us reasons to ask what we will do with the place we have been given.

Tomorrow, the setting changes. The delegates take these conversations beyond the congress hall and into the communities they are preparing to encounter.

The voyage continues—but this time, we are carrying more than where we came from. ⛵️

𝐁𝐄𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐁𝐎𝐑. 🌊

A ship can remain safely in the harbor.
But it was never meant to stay there.

On Day 2, the Lasallian Youth Agenda opened a space for young Lasallians to encounter the realities and aspirations reflected in the voices of our generation. Through its presentation and validation, we were challenged to listen closely—and to consider what those voices might mean for our communities.

The afternoon shifted from conversation to creation. Vision boards gave form to what we hope to see.

As preparations for the community exposure began, the conversations of the day found their next destination: beyond these walls, where listening must become encounter and learning must become action.
So we prepare to leave the harbor once again.⛵️💚
