The Future Educatorsโ Society (FES) successfully held its 2nd General Assembly, featuring Dr. Divina Ann M. Eusebio, who delivered a powerful talk on โShaping the Future: Education as a Catalyst for Transformation.โ She highlighted the importance of developing critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving among learners, guided by her T.H.I.N.K Framework.
FES members actively engaged in designing student-centered strategies, emphasizing inquiry, collaboration, and real-world learning.
A recognition ceremony was held by the FES moderators in collaboration with the Mother Rita Barcelo Caritas Center (MRBCC), under the leadership of Sister Niceta M. Vargas,OSA, PhD. represented by Sr. Regina Cesar,OSA and Ms. Wendy Resurrection. Students who rendered service in the Klasrum sa Barangay ni Sta. Rita de Cascia at Mother Rita Homes was recognized for its dedication to community engagement and service-learning. Their efforts reflect the Augustinian value of compassionate service and commitment to education for all.
The assembly also highlighted the various achievements and awards earned by FES members throughout the academic year, celebrating their excellence in academics, leadership, and co-curricular activities.
To conclude the event, members shared an agape as a sign of unity and gratitude, celebrating milestones and cherished memories throughout the year.
Indeed, the 2nd General Assembly served not only as a celebration of accomplishments but also as a reaffirmation of the mission of future educators to shape learners into thinkers, innovators, and changemakers.
