CPR CARAVAN 2026
Philippine Red Cross Bulacan Chapter

On September 26, 2026, the Philippine Red Cross Bulacan Chapter conducted the CPR Caravan 2026 in Barangay Sta. Rosa 2, Marilao, Bulacan, engaging the community’s youth and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) members.

The activity featured a Lecture Demonstration and CPR Caravan, together with discussions on MAAB/SafeCard and the Red Cross 143 (RC143) Program, promoting awareness, emergency preparedness, and access to essential Red Cross services.

A total of 50 participants attended the activity:

- Male: 24
- Female: 26

The activity was supported by:

- Staff: 2
- Volunteers: 5
- Total Manpower Mobilized: 7

Through the CPR Caravan, the Philippine Red Cross Bulacan Chapter continues to empower communities, particularly the youth, with knowledge and practical skills that can contribute to a safer and more prepared community.

PHILIPPINE RED CROSS BULACAN CHAPTER
ENHANCED SOUTHWEST MONSOON RESPONSE
San Miguel, Calumpit, Bulacan

As part of its continuing humanitarian response to the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon, the Philippine Red Cross Bulacan Chapter conducted relief, health, hygiene, and protection interventions for the affected community in San Miguel, Calumpit, Bulacan.

Hot Meals Distribution
A total of 500 individuals received hot meals consisting of Sayote de Picadillo with Hotdog Chunks, providing immediate food assistance to community members affected by the ongoing situation.

Health, Hygiene, and Protection Interventions

- Leptospirosis and Dengue Dissemination: 45 individuals reached with essential information on disease prevention and health protection.
- Hygiene Promotion: 45 individuals reached through proper hygiene and sanitation awareness activities.
- Doxycycline Distribution: 38 individuals provided with doxycycline as part of the response to leptospirosis risk, following appropriate health protocols.
- Child-Friendly Space (CFS): 45 individuals reached through activities promoting the well-being, protection, and psychosocial support of children.

Over the past few days, Bulacan has experienced heavy rainfall and flooding brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), affecting our fellow Bulakenyos and communities across the province.

❤ RESPONDING WHERE HELP IS NEEDED. SERVING WHERE IT MATTERS.

Continuous rains and rising floodwaters brought by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continue to affect vulnerable communities.

On September 12, 2026, the Philippine Red Cross Bulacan Chapter provided hot meals—Stir-Fry Noodles with Vegetables— Leptospirosis and Dengue Awareness, Creating a Child Friendly Space to the residents of Brgy. Pinalagdan, Paombong Bulacan.

Through the generosity of Gardenia Philippines , bread was also distributed to the community, providing additional food support to affected families.

Our deepest appreciation to our dedicated staff and volunteers for their hard work and commitment—and to Gardenia Philippines for standing with us in serving communities in need.

In times of disaster, we respond. In times of need, we are there.

REGULAR BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

The Philippine Red Cross Bulacan Chapter recently conducted its Regular Board of Directors Meeting on September 9, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at Teishoko Japanese Restaurant, San Rafael, Bulacan.

The meeting provided an opportunity for our Board to discuss important chapter matters, ongoing programs and operations, and plans to further strengthen our humanitarian services for the people of Bulacan.

Together, we continue to uphold the mission and values of the Philippine Red Cross through service, commitment, and compassion.
