DAILY DISPATCH | April 24, 2026

On April 24, 2026, student volunteers from BukSU Project Michelangelo gathered early at the Brgy. 9 Covered Court at exactly 6:00 AM for the SAKA Initiative. At the start of the activity, the volunteers were divided into two teams alongside barangay volunteers and CENRO employees, who guided them in assigning specific areas to clean along Kalawaig Creek. This ensured that the activity ran smoothly and in a well-coordinated manner, with each group focusing on its designated area.

Despite having only 29 volunteers, the group worked with energy and cooperation, supporting one another throughout the cleanup activity. The event concluded at exactly 7:30 AM, leaving everyone with a sense of fulfillment and pride in what they had accomplished together.

This meaningful experience reflects their shared responsibility and genuine care for the environment, proving that even small efforts can create a real difference.

Project S. E. E.D | April 22, 2026 (Day 7)

Day 7 of gardening marked another productive day as the volunteers continued their efforts in maintaining and improving the garden.

They spent the day cleaning the area, clearing and gathering the weeds, and continuing the development of the nursery. Each task, though simple, contributed to making the space more organized and ready for planting.

This initiative goes beyond gardeningβ€”it carries a purpose of providing fresh produce that will support the feeding program for the students. Through teamwork and dedication, the volunteers continue to nurture not just the garden, but also the community it serves.

DAILY DISPATCH | April 22, 2026

During the PE Culminating Activity earlier today, two separate incidents required immediate attention from the volunteers.

At around 11:49 AM, a participant was assisted by the volunteers at the mini oval after experiencing dizziness and attempting to vomit. After the initial response, the patient was able to recover and was okay. However, shortly after, a bystander reported to the DRRMU office about a student feeling dizzy near the registrars office, it was the same patient. The responders immediately provided care once again and ensured the patient was safely referred to the clinic at around 12:19 PM.

At around 11:56 AM, another participant collapsed, reportedly due to not having enough food during breakfast. The volunteers quickly responded, assessed the situation, and provided the necessary assistance.

In both cases, the fast response and presence of mind of the volunteers ensured proper care was given. These moments highlight their readiness and commitment, always prepared to act and assist when needed.

DAILY DISPATCH | April 21, 2026

Even on a normal day, situations can suddenly arise that call for quick action.

Earlier, two separate incidents needed immediate attention. Around 10:50 AM, a patient experienced shortness of breath and was immediately assisted by the volunteers, providing prompt care before being referred to the clinic. Later at around 2:20 PM, another patient was seen by bystanders on the stairs feeling unwell and was helped to the DRRMU office, where volunteers responded and referred the patient to the clinic.

In both situations, the volunteers acted quickly with calmness and coordination, ensuring proper care and endorsement. This reflects their readiness and strong commitment to their duty. Always prepared to respond and help when needed.

What started as a simple gathering turned into a meaningful step toward preparedness.

Last April 17, 2026, volunteers came together for a Drown Proofing Activity, not just to participate, but to learn and strengthen essential water survival skills. The activity served as a hands-on experience, especially for non-swimmers, helping them build confidence and awareness in the water.

Through this initiative, the team took an important step in preparing for upcoming water training, equipping themselves with the basics, supporting one another, and staying committed to readiness.

Because behind every training is a purpose: to be prepared when it matters most.
