𝘼 𝙉𝙀𝙒 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙏𝙀𝙍 𝘽𝙀𝙂𝙄𝙉𝙎 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙍𝙊𝙏𝘼𝙍𝙔 𝘾𝙇𝙐𝘽 𝙊𝙁 𝘽𝙊𝙍𝘼𝘾𝘼𝙔 𝙄𝙎𝙇𝘼𝙉𝘿!

Last June 14, 2026, during our 24th Regular Members Meeting at Paradise Garden Resort Hotel & Convention Center Boracay, we witnessed the traditional Turnover of the Bell & Gavel from outgoing President Immanuel "Nolly" Sodusta to incoming President JD Gangcuangco who takes the helm officially on July 1, 2026.

We also proudly presented our Officers & Directors for RY 2026-2027, who are ready to lead under the global Rotary theme CREATE LASTING IMPACT.. Together, we will continue ensuring the success of our beloved Rotary Club of Boracay Island.

Last June 14, 2026, the Rotary Club of Boracay Island held its 24th Regular Members Meeting, which also served as the final gathering for Rotary Year 2025-2026.

During the meeting, the club conducted a thorough review of its financial performance, projects, and activities for RY 2025-2026, reflecting on the achievements and lessons of the past year.

A key moment was the traditional Bell and Gavel handover, as outgoing President Immanuel "Nolly" Sodusta officially transferred leadership to incoming President JD Gangcuangco. The Officers and Directors for RY 2026-2027 were then formally presented to the membership, signaling a smooth transition into the new Rotary year.

The meeting closed with fellowship, as members shared a meal and celebrated the spirit of Rotary together.

The Rotary Club of Boracay Island joins the entire Municipality of Malay in celebrating the 77th Malay Day this June 15, 2026, with the inspiring theme:

“𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒖𝒔𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒏𝒐𝒏: 𝑨 𝑳𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒄𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝑨 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑬𝒏𝒅𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔.”

Today, we honor the rich history, remarkable achievements, and enduring spirit of the Malaynon people. As we commemorate the municipality’s independence, we celebrate the values that have shaped our community through the years—unity, resilience, service, and a shared commitment to progress.

The Rotary Club of Boracay Island had the privilege of guesting on 𝗕𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗬 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 by Paradise Cable Television Network Inc. hosted by Hon. Alan Palma Sr., together with SK Hitomi Gato & Sir Warde Gelito. RCBI was represented by two of its key leaders—VP/President-Elect JD Gangcuangco and Treasurer Renelito Tangkay—for an inspiring discussion on "Service Above Self."

VP JD & Treas. Rene shared how RCBI continues to live by Rotary’s core value of "Service Above Self," focusing on sustainable solutions for the Boracay community—from environmental stewardship to youth development and maternal and child wellness.

They were thrilled to promote the 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘆 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶-𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗵: 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 on July 19, 2026 to raise funds for RCBI’s community nutrition and feeding programs. Every stride you take helps fight malnutrition and improve access to healthcare on the island.

Whether you are a seasoned runner, a walker, or just someone who wants to give back, this fun run is for you. Expect a scenic route, a festive island vibe, and the satisfaction of knowing you are fueling a healthier future for Boracay’s children.
