IN PHOTOS | Exploring partnerships for safer roads through innovation 🔗
ACTION, Inc. welcomed representatives from the International Association of Traffic and Safety Sciences (IATSS) for an exploratory meeting to discuss potential collaboration under Tamang Ride PH, focusing on advancing road safety education through research, innovation, and technology. 👥

As part of the visit, the delegation visited Tanza Elementary School in Navotas City, one of the pioneering schools that piloted the Tamang Ride PH Road Safety Modules for Children and Youth. School representatives gave the delegation a tour of the campus, shared their experiences in implementing the program, and provided valuable insights into potential areas for collaboration.

The discussions also explored the potential application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help measure behavioral changes among participants after completing road safety training, opening new possibilities for evidence-based learning and program improvement. ⚙️🌟

Through meaningful collaboration and shared expertise, ACTION, Inc. continues to work with partners toward creating safer, more informed, and more resilient communities for Filipino children and road users.

𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀

As part of the second session of the Sustainability Management Webinar Series 2026 on Road Safety led by Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), Mr. Hajime Yokota, Founder and President of A Child's Trust Is Ours to Nurture - ACTION Inc., the organization behind the Tamang Ride PH campaign, served as a resource speaker on May 28 to strengthen road safety awareness and responsible highway driving practices.

Mr. Yokota presented the brief history and initiatives of ACTION, Inc. and Tamang Ride PH, highlighting the development of multi-sector partnerships, collaboration with donors and stakeholders, and the challenges encountered in implementing road safety programs and rider education campaigns.

Gathering over 130 online participants from MPTC, the session also emphasized key technical road safety principles for long-distance and expressway travel and ways to improve highway safety culture.

Joining the session were Mr. Segis Borja, Assistant Manager for Sustainability, and Atty. Noreen San Luis, Vice President for Road Safety and QESH, who underscored the importance of expanding information-awareness campaigns and capacity-building initiatives in promoting safer traffic management and responsible expressway driving.
