Due to the prevailing weather conditions brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the scheduled activities for International Humanitarian Month "United Steps for Humanity" will be POSTPONED until further notice.

BAYANIHAN PARA SA MGA APEKTADO NG HABAGAT 🤝❤

Sa gitna ng epekto ng Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), nakapaghatid ng Gardenia Loaf Bread ang Philippine Red Cross – Malabon City Chapter sa mga residente ng Brgy. Maysilo, Malabon City, bilang munting tulong at suporta sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan.

Taos-puso ang aming pasasalamat sa Gardenia Philippines sa kanilang patuloy na malasakit at pagbibigay ng tulong sa mga komunidad na nangangailangan. Maraming salamat din sa aming Board of Directors na sina Chairman Ricky Sandoval at Dir. Atty. Maricar Torres, gayundin kay Councilor Paulo Oreta sa kanilang walang sawang suporta sa mga humanitarian efforts ng Philippine Red Cross – Malabon City Chapter.

Sa panahon ng sakuna, bawat tulong ay mahalaga. Sama-sama nating ipakita ang tunay na diwa ng pagkalinga, bayanihan, at malasakit. ❤

🕊️ Pinalakas na Ugnayan at Pagkakaisa sa Pagsulong ng IHL

Tuwing Agosto 12, ginugunita natin ang International Humanitarian Law (IHL)—isang mahalagang paalala na kahit sa panahon ng armadong tunggalian, may mga batas na naglalayong protektahan ang dignidad at buhay ng tao.

Sa pamamagitan ng pinalakas na ugnayan at pagkakaisa, sama-sama nating isulong ang paggalang sa IHL, protektahan ang mga sibilyan, tulungan ang mga nangangailangan, at itaguyod ang makataong pagkilos sa bawat pagkakataon.

🤝 IHL ay hindi lamang batas—ito ay paninindigan para sa sangkatauhan.

🦟🛡️ PROTECTING FAMILIES FROM DENGUE DURING HABAGAT

As the Southwest Monsoon (HABAGAT) continues to affect communities, the Philippine Red Cross – Malabon City Chapter remains committed to protecting families staying in evacuation centers.

Our team provided face masks and posted Dengue Prevention and Awareness Posters in evacuation centers to help affected families stay informed and protected from mosquito-borne diseases.

We remind everyone to:
🔴 Keep surroundings clean and free from stagnant water.
🔴 Use mosquito repellents and protective clothing when possible.
🔴 Keep water containers covered.
🔴 Seek medical attention immediately if symptoms of dengue appear.

In times of disaster, prevention and awareness can save lives. ❤️

Let’s stay alert, stay informed, and keep our families safe from Dengue and other health risks during HABAGAT.

As the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect Metro Manila, the Philippine Red Cross – Malabon City Chapter remains ready, alert, and prepared to assist and respond to the needs of our community.

Our dedicated volunteers and responders continue to monitor the situation and stand by to support the City of Malabon whenever and wherever help is needed. Our water rescue equipment is prepared and ready for deployment should an emergency arise. 🛟🚨

Through preparedness, teamwork, and humanitarian service, we remain committed to our mission of saving lives and alleviating human suffering.

The Philippine Red Cross – Malabon City Chapter, in partnership with Malabon Citisquare Mall, announces that the Mobile Blood Donation Activity originally scheduled for August 8, 2026 (Saturday) has been rescheduled.

🗓 New Date: August 9, 2026 (Sunday)
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
