Just as the real estate industry has been battered by the rampant proliferation of REkolorums over the past 15 years, concerned citizens can play a vital role in protecting the public through practical and lawful actions. They can stay informed, monitor the real estate market, report irregularities to the proper authorities, participate in public consultations, and collaborate with organizations such as AKMove, which actively advocates for the integrity of RESA and the credibility of PRC License to protect both the selling and buying public.

As privileged real estate service professionals, REBs and RESs should lead by example in promoting ethical practice and combating the proliferation of REkolorums.

As a recognized Civil Society Organization (CSO), leaders should stand at the forefront defending our PRC License.

AKSYONkolorum Movement (AKMove) is committed to elevate the 15-year REkolorum (REK) Problem to the highest possible levels of PNP Leadership, transforming what was once a largely ignored, unaddressed, feared, and tolerated issue into a matter of law enforcement and public protection.

💪After 18 months of relentless advocacy, AKMove led an unprecedented enforcement campaign — the first of its kind in 15 years — thru the filing of criminal complaints against REKs engage in private illegal real estate service practice operating in NCR and Palawan.

Section 39 of RESA provides a min. of 4yrs imprisonment. This is not a threat. This is a reality.

We laud the performance of our distinguished Secretary, particularly for personally visiting the project sites and determining the extent and causes of the delay. We commend the decision to proceed with urgency to ensure the timely completion of these vital infrastructure projects.

At the same time, we would welcome the filing of appropriate administrative and criminal cases against those responsible for, or who acted as conduits for, the delay. Accountability is essential not only to address past shortcomings but also to ensure that similar delays will not be repeated in the future, even after Secretary Dizon's tenure as DPWH Secretary has ended.

Gaerlan, DOJ Secretary Fredderick A. Vida led the oath-taking ceremonies for the Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability (CPRA) of 233 heads of city, provincial, and regional prosecution offices nationwide.

"At a time when public confidence in institutions must continually be earned, every prosecutor serves as a visible representative of the justice system. Every action taken with fairness, impartiality, diligence, and integrity strengthens the people's faith in the rule of law," Sec. Vida underscored.
