Yayoi Kusama, 1929–2026.

She spent her whole life painting the thing everyone told her was wrong with her, and turned it into the most recognizable pattern on earth. Ignored in New York. Dismissed at home. Then the biggest artist alive at 90.

Proof that obsession is a strategy, and that the work outlasts the gatekeepers.

End of an era.

After 25 years, Chrome Hearts Osaka (Shinsaibashi) has closed its doors. Opening its doors to the public in January 2001, the Shinsaibashi location became Chrome Hearts’ second store in Japan, eventually growing into an important destination for the brand’s presence beyond Tokyo.

The store’s architecture and interior details brought together Chrome Hearts’ visual language, while also emphasizing on the brand’s craftsmanship. From the signature motifs across the ceilings and walls to the custom rugs and interiors, it was as much an experience as it was a retail space.

The decision amid concerns surrounding the aging and deterioration of the building that houses the boutique.

What are your memories of this store?

Today, we commemorate the life, service, and sacrifices of Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. for our country.

His words, “I will never be able to forgive myself if I will have to live with the knowledge that I could have done something and I did not do anything,” reminds us that choosing to act, speak up, and stand for what is right can make a difference, no matter how small it may seem.

Rarely do we see a sneaker moving away from a fresh, clean look from the very moment of purchase.

The JiyongKim (JiyongKim) x PUMA (PUMA) VS1 collaboration positions the sneaker as a canvas for the evolution of time, wear, and decay. Using a silhouette that blends athleisure and lifestyle, JiyongKim showcases its signature sun-bleaching technique, alongside frayed edges and exposed stitching to communicate the brand’s “deliberately unfinished” philosophy.

While wear over time might typically signal that a shoe’s wearability has diminished, here, the imperfections instead become a means of telling and celebrating the wearer’s unique personal story.

The Crocs Echo II makes its debut in the Philippines with a sportier silhouette while staying true to the signature comfort the brand is known for.

Grounded in Crocs’ classic clog, the Echo II follows the same iconic design with a more contemporary take. With the combination of a CrosLite construction with an upgraded LiteRide footbed, the silhouette guarantees all-day comfort while remaining lightweight, durable, and water-resistant, making it ready for just about any occasion.

Available in four colorways—Moon Burst, Solar Burst, Orange Burst, and Green Burst—the Crocs Echo II is now available at select Crocs stores nationwide.

Dagat ng basura.

That’s what people called it when tons of trash washed ashore in Baclaran this week with plastics, tires, styrofoam, clothing, thick enough to cover the water completely. Residents woke up to the sight and the smell of it.

And clogging the waterways that were supposed to carry that water away: our garbage.

Yes, the government has work to do. Dredging, drainage, collection. Ask for it, loudly.

But the sachets, plastic bags, styrofoam, weren’t manufactured by a government agency and thrown into the estero by one. They were ours. Every single one passed through somebody’s hands first.

Whatever we bring to mother nature returns to us. This week, it returned all at once.

The next storm is already on the way, and that’s not pessimism, that’s the Philippines. What we can change between now and then is what’s sitting in our canals when it arrives.

Segregate. Never throw into esteros or the bay. Secure your trash before a storm.

A cleaner, healthier Philippines doesn’t start in a press conference. It starts with us, and the people around us. 🇵🇭🚮
