With grateful hearts and joyful thanksgiving, we celebrate the elevation of St. John Bosco Parish Church, Makati City, as an 𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇𝐃𝐈𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐓. 𝐉𝐎𝐇𝐍 𝐁𝐎𝐒𝐂𝐎.

The petition was approved by His Eminence Jose F. Cardinal Advincula, D.D., after consulting the Archdiocesan Presbyteral Council during their September 24 meeting.

What began as a parish community entrusted to the Salesians has grown through decades of prayer, service, formation, and mission. This new chapter calls us to become even more deeply a place of pilgrimage, prayer, reconciliation, and encounter with God, under the patronage of St. John Bosco, Father and Teacher of the Young.

May this shrine be a home for the young, a refuge for families, a school of faith, and a wellspring of hope for the Church in the Archdiocese of Manila and beyond.

The schedule for the solemn declaration of St. John Bosco Parish as an Archdiocesan Shrine will be announced in due time.

𝟎𝟔 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 [𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬] - 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲: 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬 | 𝐃𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨'𝐬 𝟐𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Despite the unpredictable weather, the celebration continued with faith, joy, and the unwavering spirit of the young!
Made possible through the generous support and active participation of the various youth organizations of our parish, 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆: 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀 became a meaningful celebration of 𝗗𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼’𝘀 𝟮𝟭𝟭𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆 and his enduring presence among the young.

We were blessed by the presence of 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗼, 𝗦𝗗𝗕, 𝗕𝗿𝗼. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗼, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗘𝗹𝘂 𝗨𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗗𝗕, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗼 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗦𝗗𝗕, who reminded us of the importance of keeping Don Bosco’s spirit alive walking with, listening to, and serving the young.

Through every challenge, especially the changing weather, we were reminded that where there are young people, there is always hope, joy, and a place for Don Bosco. ❤️‍🔥

🔥𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫?🔥

As we celebrate the 211th birthday of our patron, St. John Bosco, we are reminded of the beautiful story of the Burning Bush in the Book of Exodus, where God called Moses despite his feelings of inadequacy and weakness.

But God’s answer was simple:
“𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖.” — Exodus 3:12

Moses didn’t have to be perfect. He only had to trust, say YES, and GO.

And just like Moses, St. John Bosco answered God’s call. He gave his life to the young, allowing God’s love to set his heart on fire and transform his mission into a movement that continues to inspire generations.

🔥𝐍𝐎𝐖, 𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍!

PANINGAS calls us, every Kabataang Busko, to ignite the fire within. To say YES to God, to embrace His mission, and to continue Don Bosco’s dream for the young with faith, courage, joy, and renewed commitment.

This is more than a celebration.

Advincula,🎭focused on technical theater foundations including the B.M.E (Beginning, Middle, End) ✨🌟structure and the 8 Improvisational Rules. 🎤Participants explored the Elements of Artistic Expression—Line, Shape, and Color—while adhering to strict House Rules that define the stage as "Holy Ground".
