Profoundly grateful for a meaningful and joy-filled evening with our PHC family as we gathered for a farewell dinner in honor of our Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) and newly appointed Philippine Ambassador to Turkiye, Georgia and Azerbaijan Jaime Ramon Torre Ascalon and Mrs Cecile Ascalon.

Our time together was rich with laughter, shared stories, and cherished memories. From heartfelt conversations to the simple moments around the table, it beautifully reminded us how blessed we are to have shared this journey and to have served alongside such extraordinary and gracious individuals.

Thank you, Ambassador, for your leadership, generosity, and friendship. You have truly made a lasting impact on each of us, and these memories will remain in our hearts as we bid you farewell and wish you every success in this new chapter.

Warmest thanks to Alice and Precious Andam for graciously opening their home to host our first PHC Executive Board meeting of the year, led by our director, Vicky Navarro, with attendees Lorna Garcia, Ghie Alagano, Dan Dizon, Cynthia McGee, Mercy Bowerman, Aleli Frias, and June Fernandez.

We were also blessed with the special opportunity to celebrate the birthday of Mercy Bowerman and to extend a warm welcome to our PHC Philippine Coordinator, Vilma Marmita, who is spending the holidays here in the US.
