This November, we’re raising our voices for every Filipino child!

PASWI – Parañaque Chapter joins the nation in celebrating National Children’s Month 2025 with the theme:
“OSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban!”

This year’s theme reminds us to stand firm against Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) because every child deserves to be safe, loved, and protected, both online and offline. 🌍👧🧒

Let’s work together to create a community where children can dream freely and grow fearlessly. 💪💙

The Philippine Association of Social Workers, Inc. – Parañaque Chapter proudly joined the PASWI International Conference cm 77th National Convention held from October 21–24, 2025, at the Chavit Coliseum.

Representatives from the Redemptorist Church Baclaran, City Social Welfare and Development Department, Ospital ng Parañaque, Ospital ng Parañaque- District II, and the Parañaque Anti-Drug Abuse Office took part in this meaningful gathering of social work professionals from across the country and abroad.

Guided by the theme “Strengthening Intergenerational Solidarity for Ensuring the Wellbeing of Families Across Diverse Cultures,” the event fostered learning, collaboration, and unity among social workers dedicated to uplifting communities.

Through their active participation, PASWI–Parañaque Chapter continues to uphold the spirit of compassion, cultural sensitivity, and professional excellence in the service of individuals, families, and communities.

PASWI Parañaque Chapter Oath-Taking 2025–2026 Ceremony

A proud moment for the newly elected Board of Directors of the Philippine Association of Social Workers, Inc. – Parañaque Chapter as they took Oath of Office before Hon. Judge Marie Grace Javier Ibay.

Also had the honor of a courtesy call with Hon. Judge Moises De Castro, to further strengthen the partnership and support for the social work community.

The day was made even more memorable with a Turnover Ceremony led by Former President Vivian Gabriel, CSWD Department Head, alongside with former Assistant Treasurer Ms. Maria Edna Alcantara of the Regional Trial Court.

The newly inducted Board of Directors engaged in Strategic Planning for 2025–2026, aligning the goals and vision for a stronger, more impactful PASWI. With commitment and unity, the chapter move forward to advance the welfare of social workers and the communities in Parañaque City.

PASWI Parañaque Chapter successfully mounted the Araw ng Manggagawang Panlipunan ng Parañaque in celebration of the Filipino Social Workers Day and 2nd Annual General Assembly of the Chapter.

With the theme: "Empowering Social Workers Through Spiritual Inspiration: Nurturing Wellbeing, Resilience, and Purpose in Service," the celebration was held at Event Space of SM City Sucat last June 25, 2025.

Attended by more than 50 registered social workers (RSWs) and are members of the chapter. The event was made meaningful with messages and lectures of the following:
