Typhoon Kristine left devastating effects in the Bicol region in the last week of October. Most roads to Bicol were unpassable for a few days after the typhoon left the country. It took days before lightweight vehicles could enter some cities and provinces of the region.
Camarines Sur, one of the severely affected provinces, experienced intense flooding due to the heavy rainfall. But with the bayanihan effort of our fellow Filipinos, an outpour of help arrived in the province and other places with food, water, and meals being given to various families.
Last November 9, 2025, The Feast Makati District was able to give monetary donations to our partners in the Feast Light Naga to buy sacks of rice that were given to residents of Brgy .San Francisco in Iriga City, Camarines Sur. 39 families received 5 kilograms of rice to support their daily needs as they recovered from the onslaught of typhoon Kristine.
We are blessed tremendously with the donations that we were able to receive and our partners from Feast Light Naga in delivering the goods to the beneficiaries.
Let's continue to pray for our fellow Filipinos in Bicol to get back to their feet and be able to have a strong heart to rise up from adversity and challenges.🙏✝
