While this comes from a place of love and "diskarte," when it comes to deadly viruses like Parvo, this common mindset can actually be a dangerous distraction. Here’s why:

⚠️ 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙎𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙧 𝙒𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙄𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙖 "𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙚" 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙫𝙤:
• The "False Recovery": Sugar gives a temporary energy spike. Your puppy might wag its tail for a few minutes, making you think they’re getting better while the virus is still attacking their intestines.
• Dehydration Danger: High sugar in the gut can actually pull more water out of the body through a process called osmosis, potentially making diarrhea worse.

Ever heard of the ocean’s “sea cows”?
Sirenians like the 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒖𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒈 are slow moving marine mammals that spend most of their time grazing on seagrasses and aquatic plants.

They are the 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬, calmly feeding underwater much like cows grazing in a field. 🌿
