🤝 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊: 𝐀 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄 | 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐀 🌱

Two weeks may have passed since the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 (𝗝𝗬𝗣𝗢) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 concluded, but some moments are simply worth looking back on. ✨

One of those was the 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵-𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮, led by 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗥. 𝗥𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼, where our young officials formally pledged their commitment to leadership and public service. 🏛️💚

During the ceremony, Mayor Rimando reminded the delegates of the advantage they now carry because of the experiences they gained through JYPO:

“𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙨, 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙟𝙪𝙙. 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙮𝙤, 𝙙𝙖𝙠𝙤 𝙟𝙪𝙙 𝙣𝙞 𝙨𝙞𝙮𝙖 𝙤𝙜 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙖 𝙢𝙖-𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙮𝙤.”

He encouraged them to never measure their journey against others, but to believe in themselves, stay motivated, and face every challenge with confidence.

“𝘿𝙤 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨. 𝙃𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙪𝙜 𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙮 𝙣𝙖 𝙢𝙖-𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙮𝙤.”

Looking back, the oath was more than a ceremony. It was the beginning of a journey that gave Batch Hiraya experiences, lessons, friendships, and memories that they can carry with them long after the program has ended. 🌱

🏛️ 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 | 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐀 🌱

From learning about legislation to experiencing it firsthand, the Municipal JYPO 2026, Batch Hiraya had the opportunity to sit alongside their senior legislative counterparts and take part in a mock legislative session.

With young legislators taking their seats, raising motions, sharing perspectives, and engaging in the session, the experience offered a glimpse into the responsibility, discipline, and collaboration behind every legislative decision.

It was more than just sitting in the session hall. It was a chance to step into the shoes of lawmakers, learn from those who serve, and experience how ideas become part of the legislative process. 🏛️✨

A session to remember, a lesson to carry, and another core memory unlocked for Batch Hiraya. 💚

A sash is more than a title. It represents trust, responsibility, and a commitment to serve.

As the Municipal Junior Youth Public Officials (JYPO) 2026, Batch Hiraya received their official sashes, they took another meaningful step into their journey of leadership and public service.

For these young leaders, the sashing ceremony marked the moment when their roles became more than just names on a list. It became a reminder that with every position comes a responsibility to learn, lead, represent, and serve. 💚

Looking back, this was only the beginning of a journey filled with lessons, challenges, friendships, and memories that they will carry beyond the program.

The sash was worn for a week, but the lessons of service are meant to last much longer. ✨

Rooted in purpose, growing for the future! 🌾🌱
Visiting the municipal agricultural nursery today was an inspiring look into how local farming and food security are nurtured from the ground up. From seeing sustainable crop production firsthand to understanding the hard work behind every seedling, it’s clear that agriculture is the backbone of our community. As Junior Youth Public Officials, we are proud to support local agricultural initiatives, stand with our farming community, and help cultivate a more self-sufficient, resilient future for all! 🍃🌾

Real leadership isn't just about making decisions behind a desk—it’s about stepping onto the ground and seeing the full picture. 🌿🌱

Today’s immersion at the waste disposal facility was an eye-opening reality check on the environmental challenges our community faces every day. Seeing the scale of our waste firsthand reminded us that sustainability starts with accountability—from proper segregation at home to progressive local policies.

As Junior Youth Public Officials, we are more motivated than ever to champion eco-friendly initiatives, advocate for proper waste management, and inspire the youth to protect our green future. 🌍💚
