This coming Friday at 6:00 PM, we're kicking off a brand new series:

I Wish Jesus Didn't Say That

First Topic: Love Your Enemy
Key Verse: Matthew 5:43–48

Paano nga ba yun?

Sa mundo natin ngayon, mas madalas nating marinig ang:
"Cut them off."
"Protect your peace."
"I-unfriend mo na."
"Cold treatment na lang."
"Cancel them."

At kung minsan, parang mas madali nga naman gawin yun—lalo na kapag nasaktan tayo, na-betray, o hindi tayo tinrato nang tama.

Pero iba ang invitation and command ni Jesus.

As followers of Jesus, we don't subscribe to cancel culture. Instead, Jesus calls us to love others even those we consider our enemies. Hindi ito madaling utos. It's a difficult call to deny ourselves, let go of pride, extend forgiveness, and choose to love, little by little, the way Christ first loved us.

Paano mo mamahalin ang taong nakasakit sa'yo?
Does loving your enemies mean okay lang ang ginawa nila?
Ano ang ibig sabihin ng loving your enemies sa school, sa bahay, at sa friendships natin?

Come and discover with us what Jesus really meant when He said, "Love your enemies." It's not just another command, it's an invitation to follow Jesus, submit to Him as Lord, and become more like Him.

Our prayer is that as we hear God's Word and submit to Jesus as Lord, He would continue to transform our hearts. May this not just be another conversation, but one that changes the way we love people and helps us reflect Christ's love in our everyday lives.

Youth Gathering Friday Recap | School Life Hacks: Life of Integrity

Last Friday, we talked about Life of Integrity—aligning our actions with the values we say we believe.

We looked at the life of Daniel, an Israelite who remained faithful to God even while serving as one of the three highest officials in the kingdom. Even though other leaders tried to find a reason to bring him down, they couldn't find any fault in him because Daniel consistently lived a life of integrity.

Here are three truths we learned:

• Daniel did not change his actions. He remained faithful to God even when it became risky and costly.

• Daniel's integrity pointed the king toward God. The way he lived reflected God's faithfulness and brought glory to Him.

• God validated Daniel's trust in Him. Daniel was willing to obey God whatever the outcome. He trusted God completely, and God honored that trust by shutting the mouths of the lions.

Living with integrity isn't always easy. It may cost us our comfort, popularity, or opportunities. But when our trust is in God, we can remain faithful because He is always faithful to us.

Reflection:
What risks do you face when choosing to live with integrity? How does trusting God give you the courage to do what's right, even when it's difficult?

Aligning our actions with our values.

Daniel 6:4–5

Minsan ang integrity hindi naman nasusukat kapag may nakatingin. Mas nakikita ito sa mga choices natin kahit walang nakakakita.

Ganito ang buhay ni Daniel. Kahit maraming naghahanap ng mali sa kanya, wala silang mahanap dahil faithful siya sa Diyos at namuhay siya nang may integrity. Ang tanging "issue" nila kay Daniel ay ang commitment niya kay God.

Sa school, sa bahay, sa friendships, at kahit online paano ba tayo mamuhay with integrity?

Youth Friday Recap

Topic: Excellence — Going the Extra Mile

Scripture: Genesis 39:2–4

Joseph is often remembered as the dreamer, but one of the most remarkable things about his life was his excellence. Wherever God placed him, Joseph faithfully gave his best. The Lord was with him, and his faithfulness and diligence were evident to the people around him.

We learned that excellence is not about perfection or receiving recognition. It is about honoring God by giving our best in every situation, whether others notice or not.

Joseph showed excellence in every season of his life:
• He was excellent in prison.
• He was excellent in the king's court.
• He was excellent throughout his administration.

His circumstances changed, but his commitment to honor God remained the same.

As students, we are called to go the extra mile in our studies, responsibilities, relationships, and service. When we pursue excellence with the right heart, we reflect God's character and bring glory to Him.

Last Friday at our Youth Gathering, we talked about Stewarding the Campus through John 13:1–17.

Jesus, the greatest Leader, showed us that true leadership isn't about position, power, or recognition it's about humbly serving others in love. He didn't just teach servant leadership; He lived it. Then He called His disciples and us to follow His example.

"For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you... If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them." John 13:15–17

Our challenge this week was simple:

What is one practical way you can serve someone this week?

We'll continue our Life School Hacks series with "Excellence: Going the Extra Mile."

Here's a question to think about before we start:

What does it mean to be "excellent" for you?

Is excellence just about getting high grades, being the best, or achieving success? Or is biblical excellence about something deeper?

Let's discover together what God's Word teaches about living with excellence not for recognition, but to honor God and serve others well.

Youth Gathering Friday Recap
Campus Series | Matthew 20:20–28

Last Friday, we learned that true greatness isn't found in status, popularity, or being first—it's found in serving others.

Jesus never asks us to do something He wasn't willing to do Himself.

He surrendered to the Father's will.
He humbled Himself to serve.
He gave His life as a ransom for many.

Jesus is the ultimate Servant King. Through the power of the gospel, He is transforming us to become the same kind of leaders not leaders who seek recognition, but leaders who faithfully serve.

We don't serve to earn God's love. We serve because the Servant King first loved us.

Challenge for this week:
How can you steward your campus by serving someone? Pray for a classmate, encourage a friend, help without expecting anything in return, or simply choose humility over recognition. Every act of service points people to Jesus.

We are grateful to God for the privilege of partnering with teachers who share the heart of seeing students reached and discipled. It is always encouraging to witness how God uses people in every sphere of society to make an eternal impact in the lives of the next generation.

This is an answered prayer. We believe God is continuing to open doors for the gospel in our campuses, and we are filled with faith for what He will do in the lives of students, teachers, and the entire school community.

We look forward to seeing more students know Jesus, grow as His disciples, and be equipped to honor God and make disciples wherever He has called them.

Tomorrow is Day 3 of our Midyear Prayer and Fasting. Sama-sama tayong manalangin para sa ating mga campuses!

We serve a God who deeply cares for every campus and every student. As we seek Him together, let us believe that He is at work in the lives of the next generation.

"Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom. One generation commends Your works to another; they tell of Your mighty acts." — Psalm 145:3–4

Because God is great and mighty to be praised, let us declare His mighty works from one generation to the next.

See you tomorrow as we worship, pray, and believe God for our campuses and the next generation!
