Last night, we learned and discovered more about how God loves us as our Heavenly Father and that’s why He has assigned authority to our parents.

For those who believe in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ, yung phrase na “in the Lord” means that we are now in Christ bagong creation na tayo. The old has gone, the new has come. At ito rin ang promise para sa mga maniniwala pa.

Ibig sabihin din nito, hindi madali ang mag-obey, because it calls us to deny ourselves. Kailangan natin i-lay down yung pride, unforgiveness, at self-entitlement natin before the Lord.

Pero ito yung encouragement: as we put our full faith in Jesus, hindi tayo nag-iisa. God has given us the Holy Spirit to help us deny ourselves and follow Him. Habang ginagawa natin ito, dini-develop Niya ang character natin to become more Christlike.

And hindi rin kayo nag-iisa nandito ang church to walk with you as you grow in your relationship with Jesus. Sama-sama tayong lumalakad so we can be a blessing to our families.

We understand na for some of us, complex ang situation. Pero naniniwala tayo na walang situation na hindi kayang abutin ng grace ni God.

That’s why nandito ang church to walk with our students and help them come to God, trusting that He is the one who changes hearts so we can honor our parents.

See you next Friday! Game night tayo you can come as early as 4PM.

Hello ENC Fam!

This Friday, April 17, we continue our series “School Life Hacks” with our ongoing topic on Building Life-Giving Relationships, focusing on children and how we relate to our parents.

Ephesians 6:1–3 (ESV)
“Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother’ which is the first commandment with a promise that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.’”

We live in a world where individuality is often prioritized over relationships, even at the expense of family. This is part of our natural tendency as fallen human beings (see Proverbs 22:15). But God calls us to a different way the way of obedience, honor, and blessing.

Together, let’s discover why we obey our parents, what God teaches about honoring them, and the blessings that come from following His Word.

Tara, sama ka! Bring your friends with you!

Last Friday, na re-align tayo sa Word ni God on how to build life-giving relationships.

We learned that it all starts with our relationship with Jesus—because He is intentional and continuously pursuing us. As we give importance to this, we become a blessing to our family and others.

Because of this, we have confidence that:
• God’s Commitment gives us faith
• God’s Commitment causes us to love genuinely
• God’s Commitment leads us to honor our parents

Looking for a community where you can grow in your faith and discover Jesus’ love and forgiveness?

See you next Friday!

Friday Youth Gathering Highlights

We are grateful for a refreshing and encouraging time together as we navigate transitions into different seasons. We are reminded that we have a God we can rely on, One who gives wisdom, who goes ahead of us, and who faithfully leads us.

Through God’s Word, our hearts and minds are realigned as we choose to submit to Him. As it says in Proverbs 3:21–22, His wisdom brings life and clarity even in moments when we feel scared or uncertain.

We are also thankful that God sends people into our lives to guide us those who pray with us, stand with us, and even fast with us. Truly, we are not alone in this journey.

Our heart is to always point students back to God to trust Him fully. It’s okay to feel scared or confused at times, but we can always rely on Him. Our prayer is that students will continually seek God’s wisdom wisdom that is pure and perfect.

And it all begins with prioritizing our relationship with Jesus growing in a personal and intimate walk with Him. From there, confidence and assurance are built. Even in our shortcomings and failures, God’s love remains constant and unchanging. Because they are deeply loved, our hope is that students will respond in obedience and continue to grow in the coming school year.

Announcement:

This Friday, April 3, we will be on break in observance of Holy Week. We encourage everyone to continue to reflect and remember what Jesus has done for us on the cross, and His resurrection that gives us a steady hope both now and for eternity. It is also a good time to spend meaningful moments with our family.

Today, we had the opportunity to meet and minister to our Grade 10 students as they move up to senior high school. It was a meaningful time of giving thanks—to God for His grace that has carried them through, to their families who have sacrificed for them, to their teachers who never gave up on them, and to their friends who journeyed with them.

We were reminded that our thanksgiving is not based merely on the good things we receive, but on who God is—a faithful and gracious God. His goodness and holiness remain constant, and it is in encountering the beauty of His holiness that our hearts are transformed. He is the One who renews us and draws us closer to Himself.

The foundation of a truly thankful heart is a life surrendered to God, rooted in a relationship with Jesus.

We pray that these students will continue to be grounded in God’s Word, that they will be a blessing to their campus and their families, and that even in seasons of change, they will hold on to this truth: God is with them.

Last Friday, Kuya Darwin reminded us to submit to God’s authority so we can be a blessing in our relationships. For those who follow God, He should be our first and final authority, just as we see in the life of David and Nathan. His Word is available to us as our guide and authority in life.

Our prayer is that as God’s truth is preached, it will cut into our hearts and bring change in how we relate to key relationships most importantly, our relationship with Jesus. Our relationship with Him is not just an add-on or an afterthought; it is our priority.

This Friday, we have Connect Friday! Since it’s the season of moving up, graduation, transitions to another school or section, choosing courses or focus strands, or even changes in classmates, we want to help and guide our students.

Invite your friends and classmates! 😍

We are continuing our series: School Life Hacks
Our heart is to introduce young people to principles that will last a lifetime.

This Friday’s topic: Building Life-Giving Relationships

Sa panahon natin ngayon, sa iba, madali nang mag cut-off ng relationships, sa friends, family, or even sa relationship natin with God. But God’s heart is for us to experience covenantal relationships with Him and with the people He brings into our lives.

We’ll look at 2 Samuel 12 and learn from the story of David and Nathan. We’ll discover how life-giving relationships are formed with people who are willing to call us out, walk with us through difficult times, and stand with us as we grow.

And more than that, we look to Jesus, Siya ang nanguna. He showed us what love truly looks like: a love that doesn’t easily give up or walk away. His grace and truth meet us even in our worst moments. That’s the kind of relationship He invites us into and the kind He calls us to have with others.

Alam namin holiday, but this is also a great opportunity to invest in what truly matters. In the middle of rest and free time, we invite you to prioritize your walk with God and meaningful relationships that will last.

Don’t miss this moment to grow, be encouraged, and walk with others in faith.

Tara, sama ka! Invite mo mga friends and classmates mo.

Last night, we talked about Resilience from a biblical perspective based on Psalm 23:4:

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

All of us experience change changes in interests, friendships, school, or even at home. These moments stretch us and sometimes leave us uncertain. The question is: how do we respond when these changes happen? Do we remain stuck, or do we learn to bounce back and move forward?

Resilience is like a rubber band. When life stretches us, resilience helps us bounce back and keep moving forward. The more resilient we are, the quicker we recover and continue the journey.

But biblical resilience goes deeper. It means honestly acknowledging our weaknesses and shortcomings, yet remaining confident in the One who never leaves nor forsakes us. In our darkest valleys, God’s presence sustains us, and His grace and mercy meet us right where we are.

The good news of the Gospel is this: Jesus has already gone before us. He entered the deepest valley facing sin and death and overcame it. Because of Him, we have a sure and blessed hope, not only for today but for eternity.

Our hearts were truly refreshed as we were reminded that resilience is not just about being strong it is about trusting the faithful Shepherd who walks with us through every valley.

See you and bring your friends!

Wed Lunch Break Connect at DALIS

Students dropped by our room again during lunch break. Since it’s almost the end of the school year, we talked about life, faith, and even their study habits. We also shared about how Jesus came to give us full and true rest (Matthew 11:28).

Because of sin, our souls are restless—and only Jesus is the solution to that problem. His invitation is always open: Come to Me. The invitation is for everyone. Our rightful response is to come to Jesus, even in our messiest state. And the promise is this: He will give us rest. True rest can only be found in Him.

This is the beauty of being a witness—getting to preach and share the Gospel with students.

Campus Visit:
Today, we also visited Santos Ventura National Senior High School. We took time to appreciate the teachers who serve so passionately, recognize their efforts, and pray for them. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect and look forward to our partnership as we work together in discipling the next generation.
