51st PYAP FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION! 💚🙌
Theme: “Thriving, not just surviving: Holistic support for the socio-emotional well-being, igniting hope and shaping the future of the new era of PYAP-AKO.”
The 51st Founding Anniversary of the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) is more than a celebration—it’s a reaffirmation of our shared commitment to uplift out-of-school youth (OSY) across the country. Established under Presidential Decree No. 603 (Child and Youth Welfare Code) and guided by Republic Act 8044 (Youth in Nation-Building Act), PYAP continues to be a vital platform under DSWD for leadership, personal growth, values formation, and active civic engagement among vulnerable and marginalized Filipino youth. Through local and national programs, PYAP empowers young individuals to be partners in shaping a just, inclusive, and hopeful future.
As part of this meaningful milestone, we’re holding a youth-centered seminar addressing three pressing issues faced by today’s youth:
Illegal Drug Use
Teenage Pregnancy
HIV and AIDS Awareness
This seminar aims to raise awareness, strengthen decision-making skills, and encourage young people to become advocates of health, safety, and empowerment in their communities.
