The Junior Business Managersโ Association (JBMA) successfully conducted its seminar-workshop entitled โEXCEL-lence Unlockedโ on May 7, 2026, at Legacy Building Room 1. The program was facilitated by the organizing team and delivered to participating members through the Google Meet platform, ensuring the smooth and orderly conduct of the activity alongside the college admission interview.
The seminar focused on enhancing studentsโ digital literacy, data analysis skills, and responsible use of artificial intelligence in the business environment. It aimed to prepare students for modern academic demands and future workplace competencies.
Resource speaker Ms. Norma Jean R. Bardiaga discussed Excel tools and strategies for effective data management and analysis, while Dr. Cristeta G. Tolentino emphasized the importance of responsible and ethical AI utilization in todayโs evolving digital landscape. Following the seminar proper, a workshop was conducted to assess and reinforce the participantsโ learnings from the discussion. The activity provided attendees with the opportunity to apply the concepts, strategies, and skills shared by the resource speakers.
The event was spearheaded by Overall Event Chair Efrelaine C. Carreon and Co-Chair Jillian S. Garimbao, whose leadership and dedication ensured the successful ex*****on of the program. The event was formally hosted by Abegail A. Angelito and Sundro C. Colipano.
JBMA expressed appreciation to all speakers, organizers, and participants for their active involvement, noting that the seminar-workshop served as a meaningful platform for student development beyond the classroom. Through this activity, the association reaffirmed its commitment to continuously provide learning opportunities that inspire students to learn, explore, and strive for excellence beyond the grid.
