Vibrant energy and resounding cheers filled the first day of BSBA Festival 2026, organized by the Junior Business Managersโ Association. JBMA members were wearing their colorful teams with pride at the open field last February 12, Thursday.
On that day, the master of ceremonies conducted a roll call of the different powerful teams in the digital business world, composed of Redline Innovators, Catalyst Core, Spark Group, Ecologic Group, Cloudcore Group, VisionTech Group, MarketPulse Group, and PrimeTech Group.
A series of official messages by the JBMA officers and BSBA faculty members announced the formal opening of the festival for BSBA students. The opening remarks were delivered by JBMA Secretary and overall co-chair of the event, Ms. Abegail A. Angelito. To deliver her inspirational message, the Department Chairperson of Business Administration, Prof. Cherish Kay L. Pastor, encouraged the participating students to have fun and perform their best during the team building activity. Afterwards, Mr. Mark Luis Randolph S. Vinluan, JBMA Adviser, spoke about the significance of collaboration in innovation that is widely used in the modern professional world.
After the official roll call and faculty messages, the air changed into high-intensity competition on the field. The team members carried out the official yells of their group, demonstrating the unity and competitiveness of BSBA students. One of the highlights during the morning session was the introduction of candidates for Mr. & Ms. BSBA 2026, each one representing pride and confidence.
Afterwards, the open field turned into a vibrant battleground for games and team-building activities. The day kicked-off with the Synergy Smash (Giant Volleyball). Teams showed a high level of competitiveness during the event. The afternoon session continued with activities such as Market Pull (Tug of War) and Process Relay (Balloon Caterpillar), which are both strategic and physically challenging.
The day served as a vibrant display of teamwork and camaraderie, offering JBMA members a platform to showcase leadership outside the classroom. The festival concluded its first day having successfully strengthened peer connections, with more activities slated to continue, aimed at further strengthening the connections of students within the business field.
