MORNING HIGHLIGHTS | August 22, 2026
The GSP Pangasinan Council successfully held its Girl Scout Club Officers Election today at the Event Center, Level 3, SM Urdaneta Central.

The election covered key leadership positions for the Senior and Cadet Planning Board, Junior Journalist Guild, Radio TV and Social Media Club, and Service Auxiliary Volunteer for Emergency Relief.

The event also celebrated the 3-year streak of leadership by Regional Girl Representatives from the GSP Pangasinan Council:

A total of 332 Girl Scouts from the GSP Pangasinan Council participated in the election.

Applications are now open for the Global Advocacy Champions 2026โ€“2027!

Are you a Girl Guide or Girl Scout aged 18โ€“30? Are you passionate about gender equality and advocacy, and do you want to make a difference for girls and young women?

The Global Advocacy Champions network is a chance to build your advocacy and leadership skills, meet other young women from around the world, and take your voice to the global stage.

As a Champion, youโ€™ll have opportunities to:
โœจ Build skills in advocacy, leadership, and public speaking.
๐ŸŒ Represent WAGGGS at international spaces, including the UN Commission on the Status of Women
๐Ÿ“ฃ Speak up on issues that matter to girls and young women, from climate action and digital safety to body confidence
๐Ÿ’ก Take what you learn back to your community and lead projects that create change locally

And you wonโ€™t be doing it alone. Youโ€™ll be part of a global network of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts who are learning, sharing and taking action together.
