Absolutely true!

We cut the trees.
We destroyed the hills.
We blocked the natural flow of water.
Then when floods arrive, we proudly say:
“Nature did this.”

Rain is natural.
Disaster is often man-made.

A forest is not just a group of trees.
It is a water filter, a soil protector, a flood barrier, and a life support system.

When we remove it, nature doesn’t take revenge.
It simply stops protecting us.

Don’t blame nature for the consequences of our own destruction.

Let’s plant more trees!

Let’s plant more trees!

Forests are one of the planet’s most powerful climate solutions.

By absorbing CO₂ emissions, forests help regulate temperatures, protect biodiversity and strengthen resilience against climate impacts.

But climate change, drought, wildfires and land degradation continue to place increasing pressure on these vital natural systems.

Protecting and restoring nature is essential to protecting our future.

Let's plant more trees! Magtanim ng Puno!

We keep calling it development…

but what kind of progress destroys the very thing that keeps us alive?

Every tree we cut removes shade.
Every forest we lose takes away birds, animals, clean air, rain, and life.

A concrete city without nature is not success.

It is a warning.

Because when nature disappears…

we don’t just lose beauty.

We lose our future.

Plant trees. Protect forests. Protect life. 🌱🌍

Absolutely true!

We cut down the trees.

Then we bought air conditioners.

We polluted the air.

Then we started paying for clean oxygen.

Sometimes what we call "development" is just solving problems we created ourselves.

The most valuable things on Earth were once free: 🌳 Shade 💧 Clean water 🌬️ Fresh air

Protect nature before it becomes a luxury.

Happy Earth Day, everyone!
It was such a fantastic celebration with LRP and KNHS alumni coming together for an energizing Zumba session right after our tree planting activity. It was a great way to connect with nature and each other while having a blast!

Let’s keep the spirit of Earth Day alive every day!
