| Kinumpirma ni Leyte Rep. Richard Gomez na sinaktan niya si Philippine Fencing Association president Rene Gacuma sa kasagsagan ng fencing competition sa SEA Games 2025 sa Thailand noong December 16, at iginiit na binu-bully umano ang mga national athletes.

Ayon kay Gomez, magsasampa rin siya ng kaso kaugnay ng umano’y pambubully sa atleta. Paliwanag niya, hindi raw pinalaro ang number 1 fencer at ang ipinalit ay number 4—kaya siya nagalit.

This prestigious honor is awarded to only 10-20% of districts annually, highlighting the extraordinary achievements and dedication of the entire district.
