Empowering Our Leaders Through Communication!
Earlier today, October 13, 2024, the core leaders of the Palo Community-Based Scouting movement had the privilege of attending a Portable Ham Radio Seminar organized by the Eagle Scouts Organization of the Philippines - Leyte Islands Chapter, in collaboration with DX5RAN - District 5 Radio Amateur Network Inc. The seminar occurred at the BSP Satellite Office, Leyte Academic Center in Candahug, Palo, Leyte.
It was a day filled with learning, hands-on training, and new experiences! Our leaders discovered just how crucial ham radios can be for scouting activities, disaster response, and emergency communication.

Mastering the Basics: Participants learned how to operate ham radio equipment, ensuring they can communicate effectively even in areas with limited connectivity.
