𝙋𝙐𝙆𝘼𝙒 — Wake Up. Arise. Answer the Call.
📖 “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”
— 𝗘𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟱:𝟭𝟰

Not just another gathering. Not just another weekend. This is a call for us, young people, to wake up, arise, and answer the call of God.

Sa panahon nga daghan kaayog distractions, pressure, ug noise around us, basin mao na ni ang reminder nga kinahanglan nato madungog.

So kung gikapoy ka, ARI.
Kung nalibog ka, ARI.
Kung nangita kag direction, ARI.
Ug kung ready naka mo-answer sa call ni Lord…

But more than that, 𝙋𝙐𝙆𝘼𝙒 is a space for us to realign with our identity as UMYF, and to strengthen our role in the church and in our community.

This gathering is also an opportunity for us to come together, not only as young people in faith, but as members of the United Methodist Youth Fellowship of the Philippines (UMYFP), where we are reminded of our responsibilities, our representation, and our role in the ministry.

In accordance with the Constitution and By-laws of the UMYFP, Article VI, Section 2C, the voting and non-voting members of the District Youth Council are as follows:

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦:

a. The District UMYFP officers; and
b. Two (2) representatives, one of whom is the president, from each local chapter.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗡-𝗩𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦:

a. The ex-officio members composed of the District Superintendent, the District Youth Coordinator, and the immediate past district president; and
b. All others present in the session.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Deo Raniag, the beloved child of Rev. Diosdado Bustria and Sis. Jona Lyn Bustria, who went home to be with the Lord yesterday.

During this time of profound grief, the family is also facing the financial burden of funeral expenses. The total amount needed for the casket and funeral arrangements is ₱47,000. By God's grace and through the generosity of family and friends, ₱22,000 has already been raised. We are now prayerfully seeking help to raise the remaining ₱25,000.

If the Lord places it on your heart to help, any amount—no matter how small—will be a great blessing to the Bustria family.
