𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗩𝗗-𝗨𝗠𝗬𝗙𝗣 𝗘𝗫𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗨𝗠 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟴

With grateful hearts, we formally present the new EVD-UMYFP Executive Committee for Biennium 2026–2028. We thank the Lord for the lives He has called and entrusted with this ministry. May He bless them with wisdom to lead, strength to persevere, humility to serve, and faith to follow His will in all things.

As they begin this new journey of leadership, may we continue to pray for them and support them with love and encouragement as they serve the youth and the church, all for God's glory.

𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗠 𝗡𝗼. 𝟯, 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗦 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗧 – 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

In deep respect and solidarity with the Eastern Visayas District during this season of bereavement, following the passing of our beloved District Lay Leader, Nanay Aurora Sagun-Alkuino, the Eastern Visayas District – United Methodist Youth Fellowship in the Philippines (EVD-UMYFP) Executive Committee formally announces the postponement of the Summer Institute 2026, originally scheduled on May 27–29, 2026.

This decision has been made in prayerful discernment, in compliance with the directive of the District Superintendent, and in consideration of the season of mourning, academic calendar constraints, and the leadership transition within the Biennium 2024–2026. In all these, we seek to uphold unity, order, and discernment as one district family in Christ.

We humbly ask for your prayers for comfort, strength, and wisdom for the bereaved family and the entire district during this time of grief and transition.

May the spirit of TUNHAY remain steadfast as we continue to trust in God’s perfect will and timing.

All glory, honor, and thanksgiving belong to the Lord for the success of the 𝙅𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 26𝙩𝙝 𝘼𝙔𝘾 & 𝙇𝙎𝙈 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙀𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 2026 @𝗦𝗶𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵, last 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 17-19, 2026 with the theme: “𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘁”, anchored in 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒘 25:21 “𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒆, 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒕; 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒂 𝒇𝒆𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔, 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔. Truly, this gathering was a beautiful response to His invitation. Despite every challenge, we chose to come and indeed, God made a way. He sustained, He provided, and He remained faithful through it all.✨

Delegates from different districts crossed distances, seas, and obstacles just to be part of this moment. It was more than a journey it was a testimony of faith, perseverance, and obedience to God’s call.😇

To all the delegates, thank you for your dedication and presence that brought life and meaning to this event.

To the pastors, leaders, and everyone working behind the scenes—your service, sacrifice, and unwavering support made everything possible.

Finally, the Biennium 2024–2026 comes to a close yet this is not the end, but a reminder that the table is still set, and the call to serve faithfully continues.🤍😇
