Through UniHope, the BUCAL Peer Counsellors’ Organization invites everyone to share what they can and extend a helping hand to fellow students who may need a school uniform.

Whether it’s a gently used uniform that no longer fits or a uniform you wish to donate, your simple act of kindness can make a meaningful difference. Let’s give our pre-loved uniforms a new purpose and help create opportunities for students to feel confident as they step into their classrooms.

Before the month in celebration of every women concludes, the College of Arts and Letters Student Council together with Damayan Network Organization, Performing Arts Union Integrated for Culture, Arts, and Nature, Communication Students' Association, Balangibog Organization, BUCAL Red Cross Youth Council, Society of English Language Majors, Peer Counselors' Organization, and The Literati stand committed to empowering and supporting women. ♀️🎗

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 (𝗣𝗔𝗨𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗡) stands in support of the families affected by the fire incident in 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻, 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗼, 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗴𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 during this difficult time. The accident happened last February 3, Tuesday, at around 3:00 PM. Based on initial reports, the fire was caused by a wire short circuit, and due to the houses being made of light materials, the fire spread quickly.

As a result, several families lost their homes, personal belongings, and basic necessities, including 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗶𝗵𝗻𝗮 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹, our fellow BPeA student. This tragic incident left many in urgent need of support as they begin to recover and rebuild their lives.

We are calling to come together and help in any way possible. Donations in the form of 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀, 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 are deeply appreciated and will greatly help the affected families in their daily living and immediate recovery.
