Following weeks of assessment and mobilization, volunteers and partner organizations have come together to support families displaced by the ongoing Mayon unrest. ๐ค
This morning, water filter buckets and rice packs were distributed to 123 families at the Tagaytay Evacuation Center in Camalig, Albay, helping improve access to safe water and food for affected communities.
Throughout the day, outreach activities will also reach families and children at the Camalig Bungkaras Evacuation Center (CBEC), including the distribution of school supplies and books through a Maleta Library, as well as psychosocial activities, arts sessions, and musical performances for young evacuees.
The activity is a collective effort of A-PAD PH Human Resource Network (HRN) -Bicol Volunteers, PsyKada, LoveIs2Big, Camalig Bank Foundation, Inc., Bicol University-KUGOS, Righters.Ph, and Gawad Kalinga student volunteers. ๐ซก
