The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA held the Command Conference Meeting of Project DAGAT-UWSN (Development of Underwater Sensor Network for Tsunami Detection through Ground Station Terrestrial and Nanosatellite Communication) today, September 19, 2025, at the CITHM Lobby.

The project was made through the collaboration with the College of Engineering, DOST-PCIEERD, PHIVOLCS-DOST, Philippine Coast Guard, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), and the Philippine Navy.

Project DAGAT aims to help communities prepare for the possibility of tsunamis by developing an underwater sensor network that detects tsunamis through Ground Station Terrestrial and Nanosatellite Communication.
