The 521st Department of Military Science and Tactics of the National Aviation Academy of the Philippines (formerly PHILSCA) โ Mactan Campus PAFROTC Unit successfully conducted its 5th Training Week Formation for Academic Year 2026โ2027.
The day commenced with a solemn ๐
๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฒ led by Corps Commander ๐/๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐
๐๐๐. The ceremony reflected the values of discipline, patriotism, and unity that are central to the ROTC program. Cadets stood in formation with utmost respect during the singing of the national anthem, demonstrating their commitment to duty, honor, and service to the nation.
This was followed by a ๐๐๐ง๐ค ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง to assess the cadets' compliance with grooming, bearing, and uniform standards. Cadets also conducted the ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ (๐๐๐), promoting teamwork, accountability, and campus cleanliness.
Following the AOR activity, the Basic Cadets participated in ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ conducted by the Advanced Officers to enhance their discipline, coordination, and proficiency in military commands. The training reinforced the importance of teamwork, precision, and obedience to authority.
The formation continued with a ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง conducted by ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐
. The lecture introduced the Basic Cadets to the ROTC program, emphasizing its objectives, organizational structure, responsibilities, and the core values of leadership, discipline, patriotism, and service expected of every cadet.
The activity concluded with the dismissal of the Basic Cadets, followed by the Advanced Officers. Through the successful conduct of the day's activities, the unit continues its commitment to developing disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented future reserve officers.
