OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

In observance of Republic Act No. 11040, I wish to inform all Oponganons that April 27 of every year is declared a special working public holiday nationwide in honor of the bravery and heroism of Datu LapuLapu.

In line with this, April 27 is likewise observed as a special non-working holiday in Lapu-Lapu City, officially recognized as LapuLapu Day.

As we commemorate this significant day, I encourage everyone to join us at the Liberty Shrine in Brgy. Mactan on April 27, 8:00 AM to witness the Kadaugan Sa Mactan Reenactment and to reflect on the courage and legacy of our hero, whose leadership and valor continue to inspire unity and pride among Oponganons.

Ang NPCS kay nationwide issuance of police clearance pinaagi sa online application (https://pnpclearance.ph) nga nagtinguha nga mapauswag ang proseso para sa criminal records check. Ang mga aplikante mahimong magparehistro online o sa ilang gipili nga istasyon sa pulisya. Pinaagi sa pakigalayon sa Lapu-lapu City Government tali sa DSWD-7, ang atong mga tricycle drivers makadawat na sa ilang Cash Relief Assistance karong Abril 8, 2026 (Wednesday). Ang pay-out magsugod sa alas 6:00 sa buntag hangtod alas 5:00 sa hapon adto sa Lapu-Lapu City Auditorium ug Court 1.
