"COME TOGETHER – LET'S BE STRONG (TIBAY) FOR OUR SCHOOL AND ENVIRONMENT!"

Dear fellow students of Datu Mamintal Adiong Sr. Memorial National High School (DMASR.MNHS),

I am running for President of our YES-O organization, representing TIBAY – Together Inspiring Bravery and Advocacy for Youth and Nature.

I am not here to gain popularity. Over the past 18 months, I have witnessed how environmental concerns and organizational management have been overlooked. Having closely observed our community, I am fully aware of both the minor challenges and major issues we face today.

MY COMMITMENTS – PLATFORMS I WILL DELIVER:

1. Elevate School Hygiene Standards
We will launch comprehensive waste management programs to ensure proper disposal and collection across our campus. Our goal is to eliminate scattered trash from hallways, playgrounds, and all areas of DMASR.MNHS.

2. Revitalize Our School Garden
Student-led teams will be organized to restore, expand, and sustain our garden. We will secure the necessary resources and tools to make it a thriving, productive space once again.

3. Enhance Safety with a Taller Fence
We will formally request the heightening of the fence behind the Junior High School building. With many students passing through this area daily, we must prioritize their safety by addressing potential risks.

I also humbly ask for the collaboration of other school organizations to aid in implementing these changes – working together is essential for the betterment of our school as a whole. No single group can create lasting impact alone, and I am committed to building strong partnerships across our campus community.

At the end of the day, my duties and implementations are designed to benefit our school for the long-term. Though I will serve for just one year, I am determined to make a meaningful difference for my fellow students and our faculty – leaving a positive legacy that will continue to support our community even after my term ends.

Our school is more than just a place of learning, it is our second home. We deserve a clean, safe and nurturing environment where we can grow and thrive. Real change happens when we act together, not when we wait for others to take the lead.

It’s time to give Mother Earth the warm embrace she deserves! 🌿🌍

The YAKAP Party List is officially stepping up to lead the green revolution here at DMASR.MNHS! They believe that environmentalism shouldn’t just be a requirement, it should be a lifestyle. They’re here to wrap our campus in sustainable solutions, from turning "trash into treasure" to ensuring every student has a voice in our climate action plans. At YAKAP, we don't just talk about the environment, we embrace the responsibility of protecting it. “Yakapin natin ang kalikasan” let’s ditch the plastic, plant the seeds of change, and build a future that’s as bright and green as the world we share. Join us in making a sustainable impact, one "yakap" at a time! 🌳💚

The program began spiritually with a Qur'anic reading from ISSC President Norsaif Macaombao, followed by the communal singing of the National Anthem, BARMM Hymn, and Division I Hymn, guided by BKD External Secretary Alyzah Bilao.

PTCA Secretary Mrs. Naima Mala Pundoma further detailed the event's significance, underscoring the deep respect held for the teaching profession.

A spirit of appreciation was further kindled through performances. Students showcased their talents with dance and musical numbers, alongside a touching video compilation of tributes. Sir Ali Panomblayan added a personal touch by performing a song for his fellow teachers. The audience was also moved by an inspirational address from Dra. Mo’mina Mombao Abdul, Education Program Supervisor, and a sincere letter of thanks from alumna Ms. Norain Lucman, which highlighted the enduring impact teachers leave on their students.

A central moment of the celebration was the Teacher's Awarding Ceremony, where faculty members were honored for their exceptional commitment and service.
