Late Post: Bible Enthronement 2026

The school community gathered in a solemn ceremony for this year’s Bible Enthronement, formally placing the Holy Bible in a place of honor within the campus. The activity highlighted the institution’s commitment to keeping God’s Word at the center of its mission and daily life.

Bible enthronement is the practice of placing the Bible in a prominent and honored position within a home or community, symbolizing the central role of God's Word in the lives of believers.

Significance of Bible Enthronement

Bible enthronement serves as a visible reminder of the importance of Scripture in guiding and shaping the lives of students and teachers. By placing the Bible in a dedicated space, often decorated with flowers or candles, families express their commitment to making God's Word a central focus in their daily lives. This practice encourages regular reading, reflection, and prayer, fostering a deeper understanding of faith and its application in everyday situations.

December 8 | Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception

Today, we celebrate the most solemn Marian feast of Advent — the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. On this day, we reflect on how Mary was preserved from original sin from the very first moment of her existence and was chosen to bear our Savior. Her purity, humility, and unwavering faith serve as a guiding light for all of us, especially during this season of preparation. May her example inspire us to open our hearts to God’s grace and walk faithfully toward the coming of Christ.

The Meaning of the Four Sundays of Advent

Advent is a season of preparation—a time when Christians around the world pause, slow down, and ready their hearts for the coming of Jesus Christ. The four candles lit during Advent symbolize the unfolding story of salvation and the posture of the human heart awaiting the Savior.

As the candles grow in light week after week, so does the anticipation. God came near and continues to walk with His people. In a world longing for meaning, Advent quietly whispers a timeless message—Christ is coming, and His light is stronger than any darkness.

Bidding Farewell to Our Blessed Mother 🌹

As we gently part with the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our hearts remain full of grace, peace, and love. Her presence in our school brought comfort, unity, and a deeper connection to prayer. Though her image moves on, her spirit stays with us — guiding our thoughts, inspiring our actions, and reminding us to trust in God's plan.

Thank you, Mama Mary, for visiting us. Until we meet again, we promise to keep your teachings alive in our daily lives.

The Campus Ministry student leaders send off the Blessed Virgin Mary by walking together as she arrived to her new Home.

Our Lady of Fatima,
Pray For Us!

Block Rosary Devotion Unites School Community in Prayer
October 16, 2025 | Centro, Lal-lo, Cagayan

“A heart that welcomes Mary welcomes peace.”

Today, Students, Parents, Faculty, and Staff gathered in solemn unity for the Block Rosary Devotion, held within the school grounds as part of the community’s ongoing commitment to spiritual formation and Marian devotion.

The event began at 3:00 PM with the enthronement of the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Our Lady of Fatima) by the Block Rosary Devotion Purok Coordinators of Barangay Centro, followed by the praying of the Holy Rosary led by selected student leaders from the Campus Ministry. Each mystery was accompanied by reflections that highlighted values such as compassion, humility, and peace — echoing the theme of this month’s devotion: “Blessed Virgin Mary, Bearer of Hope and Mother of the Poor.”

Teachers, administrators, and parents joined in prayer, creating a powerful atmosphere of reverence and solidarity. The devotion concluded with a short message from the school chaplain, Rev. Fr. Antonio Pintucan, emphasizing the importance of praying the Holy Rosary every day.

This Block Rosary activity is part of the school’s ongoing effort to integrate values education and spiritual growth into its daily routines, in line with the school’s philosophy, vision, mission, and core values.

The Block Rosary is not only a prayer — every bead we touch is a call to open our hearts to Her and deepen our faith in Her Son. Despite the corruption that surrounds us, we believe change is possible. Through prayer and faith, hearts can be healed, leaders can be guided, and our nation can find its way back to honesty. May we continue to hope and place our trust in Mother Mary.

The Lyceum of Lal-lo community extends its heartfelt thanks to the Purok Coordinators of the Block Rosary Devotion of Barangay Centro, Rev. Fr. Antonio G. Pintucan, Ma'am Myrna P. Agcaoili, and the Campus Ministry for guiding us through the Block Rosary. Your faith and leadership reminded us what it truly means to pray as one family.

The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) has issued a circular today (Saturday), urging all the faithful to wear white every Sunday in October and November and to display white ribbons in homes, churches, and public spaces.

This gesture is to serve as a prayer for transparency, accountability, and good governance, and as a humble supplication that our nation may be washed clean and renewed in God’s mercy, and spared from further calamities.

Kindly share this message with your parishioners and encourage their participation in this nationwide act of faith and solidarity.

Thank you!
