On August 16, 2026, June Anthonie Abadia, the current Education and Development Director, filed an impeachment complaint against the Marketing Director, Emmanuel Esperanza. Endorsed by several members of the body, the complaint cited grounds of Gross Neglect of Duties, Misdemeanor, and Improper Use of the Organization's Platforms.
The impeachment trial took place on August 19, 2026, moderated by the UPCSGโs Adviser, Eli Edrian Tan and evaluated over by the tribunal composed of Block Representatives across year levels. Under the UPCSG Constitution, the tribunal is vested with authority to investigate leadership violations and determine appropriate sanctions.
Offenses Presented (SUMMARY):
1. Gross Neglect of Duties and Responsibilities: Delays in content dissemination, lack of director coordination, insufficient communication with the Marketing and Creating Committee, and neglect of public presence.
2. Misdemeanor and Improper Use of Official Account: Sharing personal, non-organizational content and responding unprofessionally to an inquiry using the official account.

On Gross Neglect of Duties and Responsibilities.
> Mr. Esperanza explained his asynchronous workflow due to outside commitments, noting he relied on the Executive Director, Chriscia Xanelle Llamas for approvals. He stated he only realized these lapses during the August 10 emergency meeting, after which he actively created a caption tracking system, improved group chat monitoring, and provided updates.
On Misdemeanour and Improper Use of UPCSG Platform.
> Mr. Esperanza clarified that sharing and engaging with posts was part of an attempt to boost account algorithms and visibility. Regarding the Facebook inquiry, he acknowledged the lapse in professionalism but emphasized there was no intent to harm the organization's image.
Following the extensive questioning and deliberation, the tribunal identified a pattern of neglect and a lack of required leadership initiative from the beginning of his term that hindered the organizational operations.
By a ๐ช๐ฃ๐๐ฃ๐๐ข๐ค๐ช๐จ decision of the tribunal, ๐๐บ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐น ๐๐น๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฎ is hereby ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ from his position as Marketing Director.
The tribunal clarifies that this removal ๐๐ข๐๐ฆ ๐ก๐ข๐ง carry permanent disqualification from the office, Mr. Esperanza remains eligible to run for UPCSG positions in future elections.
