Candon City joins the growing movement of the Swim League Philippines Drown Free Philippines Initiative, making FREE Water Safety and Survival Lessons accessible to all.

The initiative also aims to support the creation of sustainable aquatics programs, conduct seminars for teachers and coaches, provide technical officiating workshops, promote water protection and the preservation of marine biodiversity, and introduce open water swimming opportunities for the community.

Welcome to ROOKIE RIPPLES:
The 3rd Mayor Jaycee Dy Jr. Swim Cup.

To all our swimmers, parents, coaches, officials, volunteers, and lovers of the sport, thank you for being here today. May your passion, dedication, and support continue to strengthen the swimming community and inspire the next generation.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Honorable Mayor Jaycee Dy Jr. and the City Government of Cauayan for their unwavering support of youth development and sports.

We also recognize the Northeastern Philippines Swimming Coaches Association under the leadership of Coach Elmer Corpuz, together with Coach Rolando Sarmiento and Biboy Asturias, Directors of Swim League Philippines, and Secretary General and President, respectively, of CNLCSCA. Their commitment continues to create opportunities and pathways for young swimmers across the region.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our host teams: Galleon Tankers Isabela, Alpha Falcons Swim Team, ECC Swim Excellence, Blue Sailfish Swim Club, Torpedo Ray Swim Club, New Arapaima Swim Club, Golden Splashers, and Monsoon Swim Team for helping make this event possible.

Swimming is more than a sport. It teaches discipline, courage, resilience, and respect values that build strong individuals, united communities, and a stronger nation. My warmest congratulations to all our graduates and participants, and my heartfelt greetings to Coach Ronnie Gulay, Multisport Director of Swim League Philippines.

Swimming and multisport are more than athletic pursuits they build discipline, courage, resilience, and character. They help our children grow into healthy, responsible, and patriotic Filipinos who are ready to serve their families, communities, and country.

Let us continue to use sport as an avenue to glorify God, promote healthy living, and inspire our youth to become good stewards of the environment and future leaders of our great nation.
