Last June 19, 2026, the historic Rizal Shrine in the City of Calamba, Laguna—the ancestral home of our National Hero—became a gathering ground for profound remembrance and fraternal unity. The Nobles of the Laguna Shrine Club, proudly headed by their Club President and High Shereef, Noble Marlon Calonge, participated in a solemn wreath-laying ceremony to celebrate the 165th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal.

This tribute beautifully mirrors the overarching vision of Mabuhay Temple, guided by Illustrious Potentate and Junior Grand Warden Right Worshipful Hossain Shamsodin Vostakalei:
"Helping Children is our Vision - the Shriners' Way of Life."

By standing where Rizal once walked and absorbing the timeless lessons shared by RW Ruel S. Rivera (the event's Guest of Honor and Speaker), the Nobles of Laguna reaffirmed their modern-day mission. For a Shriner, honoring a hero who built a better future for the youth is the ultimate reminder that protecting, nurturing, and helping children is truly an everyday way of life.

On June 17, 2026, the Nobles of the Laguna Shrine Club gathered at Dr. Jose P. Rizal (Calamba) Masonic Temple in the City of Calamba, Laguna, for their June Stated Meeting.
Led by their Club President, Noble Marlon Calonge, the meeting profound sense of purpose to the evening as the club mapped out an active agenda for the weeks ahead.

The session was filled with forward-looking discussions, focusing on regular business, upcoming local charity events, and preliminary announcements for the next Mabuhay Shriners Ceremonial.

Looking closely at the immediate calendar, the club finalized plans for their proud participation in the solemn wreath-laying ceremony at Jose Rizal Shrine on June 19, marking the hero's birth anniversary.
The evening was also a time of celebration and reward. Noble President Marlon Calonge took the opportunity to distribute official Shriners International IDs to the members, and presented Certificates of Recognition to the dedicated Nobles of the Ceremonial Drama Team, once again honoring their exemplary ritualistic performance during the 84th Mabuhay Shriners Ceremonial held in Pansol, Calamba last April.

On June 12, 2026, the Nobles of the Laguna Shrine Club stood in solidarity with the nation to celebrate the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence. Gathering at the historic Laguna Provincial Capitol in Sta. Cruz, Laguna, the club took its place in the civic commemorations, beautifully bridging the gap between national pride and fraternal duty.

The centerpiece of the event was a solemn wreath-laying ceremony. Headed by Laguna Shrine Club President, High Shereef Noble Marlon Calonge, the delegation marched forward to offer a floral tribute at the monument of our National Hero—and fellow Brother Mason — Dr. Jose Rizal.
