iECHO Support Advocacy Inc. successfully conducted its Batch 3 Orientation on August 23, 2026, at the HACT OfficeโITRMC, bringing together newly onboarded members, volunteers, and youth leaders for a day of organizational alignment, policy development, and leadership formation.
The activity commenced with the formal orientation of the new batch, introducing participants to the organizationโs mission, programs, policies, volunteer engagement, and community-led advocacy initiatives. The orientation also provided an opportunity for members to better understand their roles and responsibilities within the organization and its continuing efforts in community health and HIV and TB advocacy.
Following the orientation, members engaged in a collaborative discussion and review of key organizational policies and guidelines aimed at strengthening internal governance, accountability, and the effective implementation of future programs and activities.
A significant highlight of the assembly was the historic first-ever election of the external officers from iECHO YOUth, the youth subgroup of iECHO Support Advocacy Inc. The election formally established its youth leadership structure and marked another milestone in strengthening meaningful youth participation and leadership within the organization.

The election and appointments represent iECHOโs continuing commitment to developing accountable, inclusive, and community-centered leadership. Through the establishment of a dedicated youth leadership structure alongside the organizationโs internal governance, iECHO aims to strengthen youth engagement and ensure that community voices remain at the center of its advocacy and health initiatives.
With the successful completion of the Batch 3 Orientation and the formation of its new leadership teams, iECHO looks forward to another chapter of strengthened collaboration, volunteerism, youth leadership, and community-led action across the Ilocos Region.
