As we observe Undas this coming November 1, let us take a moment to remember our loved ones with care, respect, and safety in mind.
Here are some reminders from DHSBNHS-SPRCY to help ensure a peaceful and injury-free Undas:
>Before you go:
β’ Secure your home β lock all doors and windows.
β’ Bring a first aid kit and necessary medicines.
β’ Turn off all possible fire hazards (e.g., gas stoves, unplugged appliances, etc.).
>On the way:
β’ Follow traffic rules and road signs.
β’ Avoid overloading vehicles or motorcycles.
β’ Stay alert when crossing streets.
β’ Stay hydrated and take breaks on long trips.
>At the cemetery:
β’ Avoid bringing sharp or dangerous objects (e.g., knives, guns, etc.).
β’ Do not bring alcoholic drinks
β’ Keep an eye on your children and elderly companions.
In case of emergencies, immediately approach the nearest Red Cross or Medic Station. Letβs make this Undas meaningful, peaceful, and safe for everyone.
