With the theme β€œDalawampu’t Limang Taon ng Matatag at Maayos na Paglilingkod Tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas,” the congress marked a meaningful milestone in recognizing 25 years of dedicated and efficient service toward nation-building.

The Network of Career Guidance Counselors and Advocates (NCGCA) of Region 12 successfully held its regional gathering with all officers from across the region in attendance. One of the major highlights of the meeting was the election of the new set of NCGCA officers for 2025, ensuring strong leadership and continued advocacy for career guidance.

Equally important, the assembly also provided an opportunity to strengthen partnerships through meaningful dialogue with our partners from DOLE Region 12 and DepEd Region 12. This collaboration paved the way for improved programs and strategies to better serve our learners in their career journey.

Together, we remain steadfast in our mission to guide and empower the youth of Region 12 towards a brighter and more purposeful future. πŸ’Όβœ¨

We are the Network of Career Guidance Counselors and Advocates of Region 12, a united group of guidance counselors, teachers, and career advocates dedicated to helping learners discover their strengths and choose the right career path.

In partnership with DOLE Region 12 and DepEd Region 12, our advocacy is grounded in the mandates of:

βœ… Republic Act 11206 – Secondary School Career Guidance and Counseling Act
βœ… DepEd Order No. 25, s. 2013 – Guidelines on the Implementation of Career Guidance Program for Secondary Schools
βœ… DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2015 – K to 12 Basic Education Program Career Guidance Program
