Itโ€™s a wrap for RLLS sa Tagum 2026

What started as a journey to learn became an experience filled with growth, inspiration, new friendships, and meaningful realizations about leadership and service. Every session and shared moment served as a reminder that leadership is not only about leading a club, but also about inspiring people, creating impact, and serving with heart.

Grateful for all the learnings, memories, laughter, and connections made throughout the seminar. Huge thanks to all sponsors, district leaders, facilitators, and everyone behind this successful event for making this opportunity possible.

After nearly three decades of waiting, a remote sitio in El Melel, Brgy. Paraiso, City of Koronadal, has finally gained access to a reliable water sourceโ€”marking a historic milestone for the community.

For 28 years, residents endured daily challenges just to secure water, often traveling long distances and carrying heavy containers to meet their basic needs. The lack of accessible water not only affected daily living but also posed risks to health, sanitation, and overall quality of life.

That long-standing struggle has now come to an end through Project Agos 4: Flow of Hope, an initiative led by the Rotary Club of Marbel led by Pres Baltazar Fresco and the Rotaract Club of Marbel. The project successfully delivered a sustainable water system to the sitio, bringing clean and accessible water directly to the community.

Local residents expressed relief and gratitude as the long-awaited service finally reached their homes. For many, this development represents more than convenience, it is a turning point that promises improved health, dignity, and new opportunities.

The community, along with the implementing clubs, extends its heartfelt congratulations and deepest gratitude to all donors and partners who made Project Agos 4 possible. Your generosity has not only brought water to a once underserved sitio but has also created a lasting impact that will be felt for generations to come.

LOOK | Showcasing upcoming projects and activities dedicated for service, Rotaractors of Rotaract Club of Marbel (RAC Marbel) took part in the 31st General Membership Meeting and Fellowship of Rotary Club of Marbel held at the Moonplate Grill and Resto, March 5.

Together with fellow Rotaract clubs, RAC Marbel attended the said activity with RAC Metro Koronadal, RAC Dadiangas, and RAC Korbel in a shared moment of meaningful discussions pertained to making impact, service, and fellowship.

The Philippines has already lost more than half of its original mangrove forests due to coastal development and aquaculture expansion, according to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Yet studies from the University of the Philippines Marine Science Institute show that mangroves significantly reduce wave energy during storms โ€” protecting coastal communities from storm surges and erosion.

The Philippines is also ranked among the most climate-vulnerable countries in the world, based on the Global Climate Risk Index โ€” making coastal protection more urgent than ever.

This March 7, 2026, letโ€™s plant not just mangroves โ€” but protection, resilience, and hope for future generations.
