Gikan sa among kasingkasing, dako kaayo among pasalamat sa Rissho Kosei-Kai ug sa Matsubara Catholic Church sa inyong walay puas nga pagtabang ug suporta sa mga tawo diri sa Mindanao. Ang inyong kalooy ug pag-amuma naghatag ug paglaum, kusog, ug kalipay sa daghang kinabuhi.

Daghang Salamat sa MCL Staff ug mga scholars! Bisan ang gagmayng mga bata nitabang sa paghakot, pag-packing, ug pag-carga. Ang ilang gamayng kusog ug kasingkasing, naghatag ug dako kaayong kaayohan.

Tinood nga pag-volunteer nagsugod sa kasingkasing, ug mas labing maayo kung matun-an pa sa pagkabata. Ang matag gamay nga tabang mahimong dakong kontribusyon; ang matag gamay nga pahiyom mahimong dakong kahayag sa kinabuhi sa uban.

Sa tinud-anay, ang tinuod nga kausaban nagsugod sa kasingkasing, sa pagbati nga gusto mohatag, mo-amuma, ug mo-alagad. Ug sa matag gamayng lihok, nagatubo ang dako nga kalipay, gugma ug paglaum.

Mindanao Children’s Library Visits Earthquake-Affected Areas in Manay, Davao Oriental

January 19, 2026 – The Mindanao Children’s Library (MCL) Foundation, Inc. conducted a courtesy visit to communities impacted by the powerful earthquakes that struck Manay, Davao Oriental, on October 10, 2025.

The province experienced two major quakes off the coast of Manay, the first measuring magnitude 7.4 and the second magnitude 6.8. The tremors caused significant damage to homes, infrastructure, and local facilities.

During the visit, MCL representatives assessed the affected areas and engaged with residents to better understand their immediate needs.

Fortunately, the foundation has received generous support from Rissho Kosei-Kai, a Buddhist organization based in Tokyo, Japan, also from Matsubara Catholic Church which is helping the communities in their recovery efforts.
