The DUIT PWD group successfully held its 3rd General Assembly this February 6, 2026.

We were honored to have esteemed guests who shared valuable advice, suggestions, and feedback, including BM Josel Guyguyon, Ifugao Provincial Director Francis Pacio, TESDA representative Ma'am Ellayne Abellera, Vice-Mayor Michelle Alice Baguilat, Mayor Raldis Andrei Allaga Bulayungan , and our own Barangay Chairman Marvin Buyayo. We thank you for your input and insights which will greatly benefit our organization.

We're also deeply grateful for your continued help and support to our group's activities throughout the past year. Your contributions have been invaluable to us.

We are also thankful for the inspirational message of Junita Dincog, one of our members, who despite being partly incapacitated, showed remarkable strength and resilience in sharing her motivational message to us. Also,thank you to our midwife and the nurse who shared valuable health reminders and advice, and the mother of one of our members, Frances Magelle Madiano Pugong who passionately shared her advocacy for children with disabilities.

Moving forward, the DPFHEO is committed to taking note of these recommendations and continuing to strive for excellence, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our members and the community we serve.

The DPFHEO sewing group has just completed an advanced tailoring training, building on their previous skills.

After mastering women's attire in July, they learned to create polo shirts and slacks for men. They're now gearing up to launch a tailoring business at the SITMO Building, Tuplac, Kiangan, Ifugao.

Building on the basic sewing training last May, the DPFHEO proceeded with the next phase - basic tailoring. However, with TESDA's oversight and evaluation of our progress, we exceeded expectations and advanced to more complex techniques.

We're now refining our advanced tailoring skills to prepare for specialized training in sewing ethnic woven textiles. With our growing expertise, we're poised to accept orders for customized products such as curtains, uniforms, and more.

Update on DPFHEO's activities: We're running a bit behind on uploads, but we wanted to share some exciting news! Our first training on basic sewing was successfully completed on May 27-29, thanks to the generous sponsorship from the DTI office. We, the DPFHEOs, sincerely thank those who gave supports for the success of our program.

Our group is very grateful for the aids we've received from all of you!

1. The Duit BLGUs who always helped us in every preparations before our programs
2. Brgy. Duit Captain Buyayo for acompanying us and entertaining our guests even before the program started untill it was done
3. To all of those who supported us by purchasing our raffle tickets
4. To those who helped us sold our tickets though they are not members of our organization
5. To our guests who joined us during the program and educated us on related informations
6. To the Dodong's Bakery in Lamut who donated our afternoon snacks, thru Madam Dahlia Carlit

Notice of Postponement and Rescheduling of Raffle Draw

We would like to inform our friends, supporters and ticket-buyers in our raffle draw for our Duit, Kiangan PWD organization that we are postponing and resetting our scheduled draw of our raffle promo originally set on August 30. Because we have managed to sell only around half of our printed tickets and some buyers have yet to send their payments, we agreed to reschedule the raffle draw on September 27, 2024 for additional time to sell the tickets and collect unpaid ones.

We apologize for this unforseen development. We hope for your kind understanding. Rest assured that we will push on with the draw on September 27, regardless of how many tickets we would have sold by then.

For those who have not bought our tickets yet, you are still welcome to help us and/or have a chance to win any of our major or consolation prizes! Kindly message us for the tickets. Donors for our major prizes are, of course, highly welcome!
