The Federation of the Deaf–Cavite Province, Inc. (FDCP) warmly invites all Deaf Caviteños to come together and celebrate our Christmas Party & Year-End Celebration 2026.

As we close another meaningful year, let us gather as one community to celebrate our shared experiences, achievements, friendships, and the strength that comes from standing together.

Guided by our theme, “A Year of Unity, A Season of Gratitude,” this celebration is a time to recognize the valuable contributions of every Deaf Caviteño and to reaffirm our commitment to building a community founded on unity, inclusion, empowerment, respect, and solidarity.

OFFICIAL FDCP CALL FOR COMMUNITY FEEDBACK
FDCP DEAF CAVITEÑOS CAREER READINESS AND RESUME ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The Federation of the Deaf – Cavite Province, Inc. (FDCP), in partnership with Deaf Access Services – Philippines (DAS-PH), is exploring the development of a Career Readiness and Resume Assistance Program designed to help Deaf Caviteños become better prepared for employment opportunities.

THEME: “From Resume to Opportunity: Empowering Deaf Caviteños for Employment”

A well-prepared resume is an important first step toward employment. Through this proposed initiative, FDCP aims to provide accessible and practical assistance that may include:

The Federation of the Deaf – Cavite Province, Inc. (FDCP) is honored to announce the forthcoming Deaf Caviteños Learner’s Day, a province-wide initiative dedicated to recognizing, empowering, and celebrating Deaf learners throughout Cavite.

DEAF CAVITEÑOS LEARNER’S DAY

Imus City, Cavite

Theme: “Breaking Communication Barriers, Building Inclusive Communities”

This meaningful undertaking seeks to advance inclusive education, accessible communication, equal opportunities, and meaningful participation for Deaf learners. It provides a platform where Deaf children and young learners can be recognized not only for their achievements, but also for their aspirations, talents, potential, and valuable contributions to the community.

Through this initiative, FDCP reaffirms its commitment to strengthening an environment where Filipino Sign Language (FSL), Deaf identity, education, accessibility, and inclusion are respected and promoted.

A DECADE OF PURPOSE IN THE MAKING: 9TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FEDERATION OF THE DEAF – CAVITE PROVINCE, INC.

“Celebrating 9 Years of Service, Unity, and Empowerment.”

The Federation of the Deaf – Cavite Province, Inc. (FDCP) proudly commemorates its 9th Founding Anniversary, marking nine years of steadfast service, meaningful advocacy, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of the Deaf community in Cavite.

Since its establishment on 25 August 2017, FDCP has remained committed to building a more inclusive, accessible, equitable, and empowered society—one in which Deaf persons are recognized not merely as beneficiaries of development, but as active partners, leaders, professionals, advocates, and nation-builders.

This milestone is a tribute to the collective strength of our Deaf members, officers, volunteers, partners, government institutions, private-sector stakeholders, donors, and supporters whose trust and cooperation have sustained our mission throughout the years.

Our journey continues with renewed determination to advance:

🔹 Filipino Sign Language (FSL) and Deaf cultural identity
🔹 Equal access to education, employment, and government services
🔹 Leadership and community empowerment

Building bridges through understanding and inclusion.

The Philippine Red Cross – Cavite Chapter, in partnership with the Federation of the Deaf – Cavite Province, Inc., conducted a Deaf Awareness and Basic Filipino Sign Language session on August 25, 2026, in Cavite City.

Together, we promote better communication, greater understanding, and a more inclusive community where everyone is heard and valued.

Remembering Our Founder, George “Jan” Lintag

August 26, 2025 — We remember George “Jan” Lintag, the founder of Deaf Access Services Philippines (DAS PH), established in 2018.

Jan was instrumental in building DAS PH and was a strong leader in the Deaf community and a mentor to many Deaf leaders. His vision and commitment to Deaf access helped shape the organization and its continuing work to make information and services more accessible to the Deaf community.

What started as a response to a need became a continuing commitment to the Deaf community.

His work continues. His vision continues. His legacy continues through every Deaf person who gains access to information, every interpreter who serves with purpose, and every leader he helped inspire.

On this momentous occasion, the Federation of the Deaf – Cavite Province, Inc. (FDCP) proudly commemorates its 9th Anniversary—nine years of unity, service, advocacy, leadership, and empowerment for the Deaf community in Cavite.

With the highest respect and warmest greetings, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all Deaf Caviteños, Deaf leaders, families, advocates, interpreters, government partners, private institutions, civil society organizations, and friends of the Deaf community who have stood with us throughout our journey.

For nine years, we have remained steadfast in advancing Filipino Sign Language (FSL), Deaf identity and culture, equal opportunity, accessibility, education, employment, livelihood, and the full and meaningful participation of Deaf persons in society.

This anniversary is not merely a celebration of years—it is a reaffirmation of our collective commitment to serve, represent, and empower the Deaf community of Cavite.
