Kalibo Diwang Diplomatiko Corps (KDDC) proudly participated in the Philippine International Model United Nations (PHIMUN) 2026, joining student leaders and aspiring diplomats from various institutions in meaningful discussions on pressing global issues.

We extend our sincere commendation to our delegates for representing KDDC with professionalism, integrity, and excellence throughout the conference. Through thoughtful deliberation, diplomatic engagement, and collaborative problem-solving, they demonstrated the values and competencies expected of future leaders in international affairs.

Their participation reflects KDDC’s continuing commitment to fostering critical thinking, global awareness, and responsible leadership among the youth. More than an opportunity to debate and negotiate, PHIMUN served as a platform for our delegates to broaden their perspectives, strengthen their diplomatic skills, and contribute to constructive dialogue on matters of international significance.

As they carried the name of KDDC with pride and distinction, they embodied the spirit of diplomacy, cooperation, and service that our organization upholds.

Day 2 of the Golden Barter Model United Nations continued with engaging discussions, collaborative negotiations, and thought-provoking debate among delegates from different committees.

Throughout the second day of session, representatives strengthened their diplomatic strategies through moderated caucuses, resolution amendments, and policy-driven discourse. Delegates demonstrated confidence and adaptability as they addressed global issues while working toward practical and sustainable solutions.

As committee sessions progress, GBMUN continues to foster an environment of leadership, critical thinking, and international cooperation — proving that diplomacy remains at the heart of meaningful change.

The opening committee sessions of this year’s conference showcased insightful deliberations, strategic negotiations, and impactful diplomacy among delegates of the Golden Barter Model United Nations.

Throughout the first day of session, delegates actively engaged in moderated caucuses, resolution drafting, and constructive debate as they worked toward comprehensive and sustainable solutions. With diplomacy at the forefront, representatives delivered strong policy positions while fostering cooperation among member states.

HOURS 𝐋𝐄𝐅𝐓 before the Golden Barter MUN officially begins, and now it’s time to meet the distinguished individuals behind the committee sessions! 👀🔎

Mr. 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐍. 𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫-𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐫𝐚𝐫 as the 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫!

Vineet N. Korner-Thakrar is an incoming Third-Year Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service student from the University of San Agustin and currently serves as a CAS Board Member for SY 2026–2027.

Throughout his Model United Nations journey, he has participated in numerous conferences including the 6th and 7th SAMUN, WVSUMUN, JMUN, San Beda College Alabang MUN, GYAMUN, PISAYMUN WVC, and USTMUN. He has represented countries such as South Korea, Mozambique, Belarus, the United States of America, Russia, China, Liberia, and Slovenia across committees including the UNSC, UNHRC, UN Women, and HCC.

His diplomatic excellence has earned him several distinctions, including 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. His strong background in diplomacy and international affairs reflects the qualities of leadership, critical thinking, and professionalism expected from a Head Chair.

With his experience and dedication to diplomacy, he is set to lead the committee with excellence and ensure a meaningful and engaging simulation experience for all delegates. 💼

𝙒𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙮.

The recent unrest at the Senate, marked by a distressing escalation of violence, weighs heavily on the hearts of our community. KDDC believes that the grit of a nation is rooted in 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴' 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦.

Now more than ever, we must reflect on the fundamental necessity of 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. True stability is not merely the absence of conflict but the presence of justice, the rule of law, and a shared respect for the processes that keep our democracy whole. As we witness these unfolding events, we call to uphold justice and the constitution.
