I was given the opportunity to present our COTAMANGO products to our visitors from Europe who were visiting Region 12.
And yes, who wouldn’t be proud? 💚
Based on our current records, Cotabato Province is the No. 1 mango-producing province in Region 12 and now ranks No. 2 in the entire Philippines. 🥭🏆
So as I presented our mango puree, dried mango, and mango jam, I proudly shared that these products are developed and processed by CMPC — Cotabato Mango Producers Cooperative, based in Midsayap, Cotabato.
A cooperative built around our local mango industry, bringing the harvest of our farmers into value-added products that can reach wider markets—even beyond our province ..🥭
And this is just the beginning.

And what about our UBE? 💜
Look at our colleague Marionne, who was also proudly showcasing her processed products made from the ube of Banisilan, Cotabato. She transformed the raw ube into powder—and wow, the ube jam was truly something special! I even remember that we brought this product with us to Palawan.
These are just two examples of the many commodities and raw materials that Cotabato Province has to offer.
With all the challenges facing our economy today, there is no reason to lose hope. As long as we continue to produce, harvest, innovate, and add value to what our farmers grow, we have so much to look forward to. 🌱💚
And of course, this is made possible through the leadership and continued support of our Ina ng Probinsya, Governor Lala Taliño Mendoza. ❤️
Her marching order is clear: to improve, enhance, and strengthen value-adding initiatives for the raw materials and commodities of Cotabato Province.
By supporting processing, product development, and market opportunities, we are not only creating products—we are creating greater opportunities for our farmers, entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and local businesses.
