//𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙏𝙃𝙎 𝙤𝙛 𝙆𝘼𝘽𝘼𝙔𝘼𝙉, 𝘽𝙀𝙉𝙂𝙐𝙀𝙏 𝙅𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 2𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩 || Today, March 15, 2025, The SKF-President of the Municipality of Kabayan, Hon. Rolly Chard P. Tugay-an led the youths of Kabayan to join the 2nd Legislative Youth Summit at the Tupaya Gymnasium, Cordillera Career Development College. The Kabayan youth participants came from different youth classifications, from SK Officials, Youth Organizations, LGU, OSY, Highschool and College Students, Working Youths, and College graduates.

The speakers during the summit were:
• Mr. Bearwin Meily, Comedian Actor & Motivational Speaker
• Mr. Belmer F. Yano, Secretary General Northern Luzon IPED Council of Elders
• Mr. Gerardo O. Gambala, Executive Director of Christian for Nation Building Inc.
• Maria Venus Raj-Orillan, Miss Universe Philippines 2010, Youth Advocate

The speakers shared their testimonies, experiences, learnings from their specific careers focusing on empowering the youth through Cultural Awareness, Faith in God and Leadership.

The said activity was funded and organized from the office of the Provincial Vice Governor, Hon. Ericson "Tagel" L. Felipe.//

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Kabayan woke up from a five - minute stupor in the third quarter to stop a profuse bleeding and score 92-75 victory over Bakun in the Cong. Eric Go Yap Congressional Cup – Benguet Basketball League at the Benguet State University covered court here Saturday.
Staring at a halftime 33-52 deficit, Bakun went to work as it whittled the lead to only nine, thanks to Ryan Contada who also woke from a first quarter stupor.
That was when the bomb detonated from the rainbow country. Kyle Naisod, who set the three – point record of 10 last season and tied by Will Kean Lee last October, came to the rescue and buried four from deep, three at the left and one at the right corner that saw them increase the lead to 23.
That apparently broke the camel’s back.
“It just kept coming. I was really lucky back then,” said Naisod.
“We lost our composure, we just relaxed and the next thing we knew was our was down to nine,” said Naisod.
Naisod added nine rebounds and five assists, while adding two steals in his 22 – point performance that is yet the best for the league’s acknowledged sharpshooter and for the best player of the game recognition.
Clifford Panayo and Karvell Pucay added 15 and 12 points, while University of Baguio standout Yzer Neil Palispis had his debut for a 9-9-2-2-2 points-rebounds-assist-steal-block performance.
Contada once again top scored for Bakun as three of his teammates – Terio Yubos, Rex Kitayan and Tristan Antonio – hauled 15, 13 and 11 boards, in that order.

𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘁𝗼𝗸

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Kabayan won its second game at the expense of Atok in the Cong. Eric Go Yap Congressional Cup at the Benguet State University covered court here Thursday night.
Heaven Leigh Benito scored 13 points, 12 on attack points and a single ace to power Kabayan past Atok which made a determined stand in the last two set for the 25-14, 25-18, 25-18 in the 68-minute victory for the former.
On the night they missed top player Eloise Codiaman who was at work, Benito led the charge with the younger of the Codiaman sister.
“It was team effort and the girls just clicked now,” summed coach Ronalyn Baoidan.
Kabayan was practically not threatened as it seized the initiative early in the first set and never looked back.
It was slightly threatened in the second set when an 8-0 run saw the 16-3 lead into a 16-11 advantage. Kabayan woke up and stopped the bleeding then coasted for the win.
The younger Codiaman added eight markers on six attacks and two service aces.
Two Atok player played in double digits with Amorhy Ville Paoad leading all scorers with 15 on 14 attack points and a single ace, while Aimee Galao added 11 built on seven attack points, two aces and two blocked shots.
With the win, Kabayan improved to 2-3 win-loss slate, while Atok falls to 1-6 in tie with Bokod. CEGYCC Release

𝙄𝙉 𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙏𝙊𝙎 || The Local Youth Development Council & Youth Organizations of the Province of Benguet conducted a Leadership Training and Team Building at the Puerto de San Juan Beach Resort Hotel , December 12-13, 2024.

The said activity was presided by Hon. Rolly Chard Tugay-an, Vice Chairperson of Benguet-LYDC funded by the Office of the Governor Melchor Diclas - Benguet , Innitiated by Sir Francis Likigan, Provincial Local Youth Development Officer-Designate.

Highlights of the activity was the presentation of each organizations of their Activities and Achievement for the CY 2024, Inspirational Discussion with Sir Francis Likigan and Ways Forward Discussion.

Moreover, From the Municipality of Kabayan Delegates, Together with Mr. Rolly Chard Tugay-an, SKF-President, were with Mr. Clifford Kamora, SK Kagawad of Brgy.
