𝙎𝙚𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙅𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙊𝙧𝙗𝙚

To the hands that transformed our campus into a place of comfort and belonging, turning it into a haven for every FBCian. To the feet that never stopped walking the halls every day. To a life devoted to serving others and helping shape lives in the FBC community.

For over 10 years of service, Manong Jonathan faithfully dedicated his life serving FBC with humility, patience, and hard work. Even on the busiest days, he never lost his bright and warm smile. Though his work happened behind the scenes, its impact was felt by every FBCian who entered a clean, safe, and welcoming campus each day.

His years of faithful service will never be in vain, for he always sought to honor and serve the Creator through every task entrusted to him. Though he is no longer with us, the contributions he made will never be forgotten, the FBC community will remember his service deeply rooted in faithfulness. The legacy of his service and the countless lives he touched will continue to inspire the community.

One of the greatest things we can learn from Manong Jonathan's life is to give back to the place that helped shape who we are. May we carry the words of Manong Jonathan with us always: "𝐷𝑎𝑝𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑏𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑘 𝑚𝑜 𝑔𝑖𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑎𝑎𝑦𝑜 𝑚𝑜 𝑛𝑔𝑎 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑏𝑖𝑠𝑦𝑜.”

A week has passed since the first day of school. After getting a bit familiar with the campus and being introduced to their respective programs, the freshmen now discovers what it truly means to be part of the CECS.

Held today, July 29, at the FBC Gymnasium, the CECS Orientation welcomed students into the college community. They learned about the history of CECS, met the faculty and staff who will guide them throughout their academic journey, explored important campus locations, gained a better understanding of the college's policies and grading system, and received announcements to help them stay informed throughout the school year.

Set your heart ablaze as you begin this new chapter of your journey. Each and every step of your way, CECS will always be rooting for you! God Bless you, Tangerines!

Digital Marketing Seminar — 4th Kabankalan ICT Summit

The seminar officially began with opening remarks from Dr. Rhea S. Calvo, who welcomed the participants and introduced the guest speaker, Engr. Jessie Gersaniva. In her message, she emphasized that the Filipino consumer is already online, making digital marketing more relevant than ever.

Building on this, Sir JC shared the fundamentals of digital marketing and the importance of being mindful about the contents we post on social media to promote our products or businesses.

To put the lessons into practice, Engr. JC challenged the audience with a Canva design competition. He provided assets to the audience to rearrange and come up with their own designs, allowing them to apply what they had learned during the seminar.

While the participants were busy designing, sir Jubet M. Padilla shared the inspiring story behind Verity Lab and Mono Booth. Drawing from his own experience in digital marketing, he spoke about how the two businesses began and the lessons he learned while growing them.

The seminar concluded with Sir JC and Sir JB reviewing the participants' designs, offering feedback and creative insights then picked 5 outstanding entries.

The ICT Summit 2026 will continue until the 25th of July. The MLBB tournament begins tomorrow with FBC having 3 teams at the ready at CityMall Kabankalan! FBCians, Tangerines, if you have the time, come and support our players!

FBC-CECS Joins Kabankalan City's 4th ICT Summit Opening

The College of Engineering and Computer Studies (CECS) students shone as brightly as the fiery sun at the St. Columban Arts Center of Kabankalan Catholic College during the opening of Kabankalan City's 4th ICT Summit today, July 22.

The tech students went home inspired by the message of Ferdinand Sy, CESO VI: "Be masters of technology, not slaves of it."

In the afternoon, the Start-Up Challenge was held at the KCC Computer Laboratory, where four schools showcased their innovative ideas. FBC-CECS proudly pitched three projects:

The Start-Up Challenge concluded with Drive Alert from FBC emerging as the Champion, while the Technological University of the Philippines secured the 1st Runner-Up and 2nd Runner-Up titles.

The ICT Summit will continue until July 25. Tomorrow, July 23, a seminar on Digital Marketing will be held at CityMall Kabankalan. In the following days, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Tournament, Cosplay Competition, and Awarding of Winners will also take place at CityMall Kabankalan.

Innovation is for everyone. The ICT Summit is proof that students are ready not only to embrace the future of technology but also to contribute to building a more sustainable, innovative, and progressive nation.

𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘, 𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦! 🍊🧡

While the sun shone brightly in the sky, the CECS booth welcomed the freshies with the same burning passion. It was filled with countless moments of laughter, lively conversations, memorable introductions.

The CSS Booth featured games related to the field that IT freshies are about to face, including typing challenges to test their dexterity and chess matches to test their logical thinking. Beyond the games, the booth also showcased printed photos of our wonderful—and handsome—adviser. 😉

The first day of school marked the kickoff of a new academic year where the CECS community could proudly showcase their unity and camaraderie.

There's no place like the home of the champions.
