4-H CLUB KABANKALAN JOINS THE NEGROSANON YOUNG FARMERSโ€™ SUMMIT 2026! ๐ŸŒฑ

The 4-H Club Kabankalan proudly participated in the Negrosanon Young Farmersโ€™ Summit 2026, organized by the Pamatan-on nga Mangunguma sang Negros Alliance (PAMANA), held on August 21โ€“23, 2026, at Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary.

We proudly recognize Ferlyn Ann Layan, Divine Andrea Amandoron, and Grace Joy Servando, who served as facilitators during the three-day summit, dedicating their time and efforts to guide and support the participants throughout the event. Adding to this remarkable contribution, Grace Joy Servando also served as one of the speakers, sharing her knowledge and insights with fellow young farmers and participants. ๐ŸŽค๐ŸŒฑ

Meanwhile, Rockyshem Agoyong, Fea Cielo Cristobal, James Sumagaysay Jr., Ken Baja, and Abbygayle Copiado showcased their knowledge, creativity, and passion for agriculture through the Project Proposal Pitching. Their hard work and dedication were recognized as they proudly earned 2ND PLACE โ€“ Best Project Proposal! ๐Ÿ†๐ŸŽ‰

This recognition marks another proud milestone for the 4-H Club Kabankalan, as the club also received recognition in the Project Proposal competition during last year's summit, represented by Divine Andrea Amandoron, Ferlyn Ann Layan, and Haziel Ann Casquete. APPLICATION FOR UNLOCKED TRAIL CAMP IS NOW OPEN!!!

UNLOCKED is a dynamic youth leadership training program for youth in Kabankalan City. This camp was based and tailored on the Transformative Approaches to Innovative Leadership (TRAIL) Camp of Youthlead Philippines (YLP) an intensive training designed to help participants discover and unlock their full potential as emerging transformative leaders through engaging sessions and shared challenges.

It aims to lay a strong foundation for youth engagement, involvement, empowerment and community-driven leadership. It highlights various activities designed to touch youth self-awareness, purposeful service, deep empathy, and the courage to take impactful initiatives.

This first edition of UNLOCKED Camp will cater participants who aspire for skills and character development in reaching their becoming of being able to serve and be served. UNLOCKED aims to make the participants understand the true meaning of transformational leadership through Serving - Leading - and Transforming.

This first ever UNLOCKED Camp will take place at Balicaocao Eco Park, Barangay Orong, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental this coming June 11-14, 2026.

Slots are limited. Application will be screened. CAMP is FREE

1. Youth from ages 15 to 30 years old

Youth leaders gathered today for the โ€œ๐•๐จ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐•๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐งโ€ Planning Workshop for the Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP) 2027โ€“2029 organized ๐‘ณ๐’€๐‘ซ๐‘ถ ๐‘ฒ๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’‚๐’๐’Œ๐’‚๐’๐’‚๐’ in partnership with ๐‘ณ๐’€๐‘ซ๐‘ช , ๐‘บ๐‘ฒ ๐‘ญ๐’†๐’…๐’†๐’“๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’, and ๐‘ซ๐’†๐’‘๐’‚๐’“๐’•๐’Ž๐’†๐’๐’• ๐’๐’‡ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’•๐’†๐’“๐’Š๐’๐’“ ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐‘ณ๐’๐’„๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ฎ๐’๐’—๐’†๐’“๐’๐’Ž๐’†๐’๐’• โ€“ ๐‘ฒ๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’‚๐’๐’Œ๐’‚๐’๐’‚๐’. The workshop aimed to collaboratively identify priorities, consolidate ideas, and develop a strategic three-year plan that will guide youth programs and initiatives in the city.

The activity also featured messages from ๐‰๐จ๐ž๐ฅ ๐๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐š and ๐‰๐จ๐ฏ๐ฒ ๐’๐ž๐ซ๐จ๐ง, representing ๐๐ž๐ง๐ฃ๐ข๐ž ๐Œ. ๐Œ๐ข๐ซ๐š๐ง๐๐š, ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐Œ๐š๐ฒ๐จ๐ซ , ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐š ๐†๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ข๐š ๐’. ๐Œ๐ข๐ซ๐š๐ง๐๐š, ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐•๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐Œ๐š๐ฒ๐จ๐ซ . Meanwhile, ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ค ๐€๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ ๐ƒ. ๐‹๐ข๐ง๐š๐ฌ, ๐‚๐‹๐†๐Ž๐Ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ƒ๐ˆ๐‹๐†-๐Š๐š๐›๐š๐ง๐ค๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ง, provided valuable technical guidance on the guidelines, legal foundations, and the roles of youth organizations in crafting the LYDP.

Among the participating organizations was the ๐Ÿ’๐‡ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Š๐š๐›๐š๐ง๐ค๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ง, one of the active LYDC member organizations, represented by ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐…๐ž๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ง ๐€๐ง๐ง ๐‹๐š๐ฒ๐š๐ง and ๐•๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐‘๐จ๐œ๐ค๐ฒ๐’๐ก๐ž๐ฆ ๐€๐ ๐จ๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐ .

With the participation of 10 LYDC member organizations and several SK Chairpersons, the workshop served as a meaningful platform for collaboration, empowering young leaders to transform their voices into concrete plans for the development of Kabankalanโ€™s youth sector. ๐Ÿ’šโœจ

On the same day, the LYDC also approved ๐‘น๐’†๐’”๐’๐’๐’–๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ ๐‘ต๐’. ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”-๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’ , endorsing the ๐‘ณ๐’๐’„๐’‚๐’ ๐’€๐’๐’–๐’•๐’‰ ๐‘ซ๐’†๐’—๐’†๐’๐’๐’‘๐’Ž๐’†๐’๐’• ๐‘ท๐’๐’‚๐’ (๐‘ณ๐’€๐‘ซ๐‘ท) ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•โ€“๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—. The approved plan will be forwarded next week to the Sangguniang Panlungsod through the Executive Endorsement of the Local Chief Executive (LCE) for its adoption and approval through an SP Resolution.
