A Call for Compassion: Let’s Help the 4-Hers of Bogo 🍀

The 4-H Club National Federation extends its deepest concern and solidarity to the people of Bogo City, Cebu, especially to our fellow 4-Hers whose lives have been upended by the recent 6.9 magnitude earthquake.

Bogo City—the epicenter of this devastating disaster—is not only a community but home to active 4-H Club in the Region 7. For years, the Bogo 4-H Club has proudly represented Region 7 in National 4-H Conventions, bringing home numerous awards and honors. Their dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the values of Head, Heart, Hands, and Health have inspired us all. Today, they need us.

Homes have crumbled. Families have been displaced. Aftershocks continue to shake their already fragile sense of safety. But amid the ruins, our fellow 4-Hers are still standing—not to ask for help, but to serve others through a relief initiative led by: “A Viscan Hand.”

Every donation will go directly to the affected community, with the Bogo 4-H President—also serving as Region 7 Treasurer—ensuring transparent and timely delivery of aid.

Let us be the hands that serve, the hearts that pray, and the voices that uplift in this time of crisis. We do not only rebuild homes—we help restore hope.

Together, as one 4-H family, let’s make sure Bogo City knows: they are not alone.

This is in partnership with the VSU - University Supreme Student Council and 50 organizations.

Don't waste today's food, protect tomorrow's future.🌾

In our community, rampant food waste continues to grow—not because of shortage, but because of lack of awareness of its harmful effects. Every meal wasted is a farmer’s effort lost, a hungry stomach left empty, and our environment burdened. 💔

This is more than just a problem—it’s a challenge for change. And who better to lead than the youth? Through community education, training, and active engagement, young people can shape a future built on gratitude and responsibility. 🌱✨

That’s why the 4H Club of Kabankalan proudly joined the Pagtipon: a 3-day training at Duremdes Suite, Kabankalan last August 22-24, 2025—equipping youth to spread awareness and take action against food waste. 💪🌍

✨ “What you take for granted today may be the very thing you miss tomorrow.” ✨

👉 Let’s join the SAGUP Food Circle—save food, minimize food waste, and build a future of sustainability. 🌾

💚 Be one of the growing family of Agreheroes!
